Candlewood Suites WAKE FOREST RALEIGH AREA in Wake Forest

We booked a non-smoking room two months in advance but when we checked in they gave us a smoking room. When confronted, we were told there were no non-smoking rooms available. Needless to say we did not stay there and will never return. Quailty of service was extremely lacking.

We had a great stay at the hotel. Room was clean and spacious. Only complaint would be noise. It was easy to hear people walking around above us at strange hours of the night. Other than that, a flawless stay.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here, and the fact that I go so much more for the same rate I usually pay to be without them, I couldn't be happier. I make the trip to Wake Forest about once a month and have tried the other hotels in the area. Having the kitchenette in room made the trip MUCH more enjoyable, as I could prepare my own food and even boil […] water to humidify the room. The windows in the room opened as well, which I found to be a huge plus. All things I sorely miss on my usual trips. Although there was no breakfast in the lobby, they do have coffee at all times, as well as a little store where you could buy provisions if you weren't inclined to go to Target and pick up groceries on your own. The hotel is situated in an area which was convenient to our family visit, but too close to the strip malls. I believe the roadside entrance was shared by a WalGreens, a fast food chicken place and the hotel. The hotel front desk was unmanned when we arrived, creating a concern about security in the building. The front desk staff seemed like they were […] going through the motions, leaving you with a 'take it or leave it' feeling. The room was clean, but the bed and the pillows were unconfortable. I was unaware that because my stay was 4 days, it was considered an extended stay,meaning: no bedmaking, no towels changed, no vacuuming. Amenities included a small bottle of shampoo/conditioner and a bar of soap for each: sink and shower. To have fresh towels meant taking used linens to the front desk and requesting replacements. No where was it noted that this was an extended stay hotel. At the nightly rate payed we should have gotten daily room service. If we were getting weekly service, then we should have payed a weekly price divided by seven per day. Hotel was clean, but with no breakfast, no pool and no daily service, this hotel was not a bargain.

Very nice rooms. but on the day I was to check out the television and internet service was disconnected. Couldnt you just disconnect at noon/check out? I was traveling back to Charlotte and wanted to get a weather report after hearing that it was storming in Charlotte.

Booked our room and realized later that our dog would need to travel with us. Was very pleased that this was a pet friendly hotel. Friendly staff and great location in Wake Forest.

Extended stay hotel, meaning maids service the room only once per WEEK. If you want clean towels or sheets, you have to exchange them at the front desk. There are only 2 small trash cans and they are NOT emptied either. "Pillow menu" is a joke. Their are only 2 types --- "feather or firm" and neither is high quality. Plus the front desk initially claimed […] they didn't have firm pillows... Don't stay in odd # room unless you want lights from neighboring retail parking lot to light up your room at night. Walls very thin --- could hear the adjoining room's TV clearly. On the plus side... has full kitchen (and there are grocery stores close by). Has in-room DVD and a nice selection of movies you can borrow for free. Lees meer
