Ligt aan een paralelweg naar het centrum van Austin waar wij moesten zijn. Wanneer je 1 weg verder paralel neemt kom je precies in downtown uit en heb je niets met het drukke verkeer te doen.

I love this W Hotel. The service is wonderful. John checked us in and was informative, helpful and friendly...just the way we want to be welcomed! Everything was great, but I have a few ideas of where improvements can be made. First, the hotel elevators (there are three of them), seem to always take forever, especially when you are on the lobby level […] waiting to go up. Second, the air conditioning in the room seems to work, but for some reason the room is stuffy and air doesn't circulate. I am always cold, so for me to complain about this really says something! "I can't wait to go back!"
I loved my stay at the W Hotel. The location was very convenient and I could walk practically everywhere. They also have an Acura car experience to drive you if something is not walk-able which was excellent. The gym is fantastic! I used it every day. The cozy room was not too small and felt like home and not a hotel. If I was staying with someone, […] the fact that the shower/tub is open to the rest of the room probably wouldn't have been ideal. The tub/shower combo was hard for a shorty like me to get in and out of because it was so deep and the wall was so high, but it was nice for taking a relaxing bath. The spa was good. I got the Over the Hills and Far Away treatment the last day of my stay and it was the best spa treatment I've ever had. I will say the front desk attendant at the spa was not as welcoming and nice as everyone else at The W but maybe she was just having a bad day. One negative was having to pay for internet service. But overall I had a fabulous experience and felt very cared for during my stay. You will love all the little details they do to make your experience feel very personalized and welcoming! "Highly Recommended"
Had an amazing stay this past weekend at the W Austin. When we originally booked the room, we booked a queen bed. And to our surprise, when we arrived, we asked to upgrade and our upgrade request was met free of charge. We ended up getting a huge room with a king size bed that had a balcony overlooking the pool. It was better than I could have possibly […] imagined. The car valet service was excellent and our car was always ready by the time we arrived downstairs. Not to mention, the bar on the first floor of the hotel allowed us to celebrate our engagement without ever having to leave the hotel. I loved the hotel! The location was great. The Acura drivers were fantastic! They gave us wonderful places to check out. The female evening concierge was amazing! I love her! She always addressed me by my name, she was the only one. She booked all of our Acura car reservations and was a wealth of information. The housekeeping was the worst I ever had […] at a W hotel. I had to call down for Bliss products. Even we walked in on the stylist, she was leaving and I had to ask her for Bliss products, she didn't empty ice bucket water, the ledge with the glasses was filled with dust, the sink and ledge had water spots, there was hair still on the floor and the large mirror was streaked. Everything about the W Austin is fabulous... the staff, the decor, the rooms, views, etc. As with all of their properties, their motto, Whatever, Whenever, has won my hotel loyalty. My only complaint for this property is that the thermostat in the room is limited to going down to 65*. That is a reasonable temperature, but I like the room to be chilled […] when I am sleeping, especially after a night of drinking, which is almost guaranteed while visiting Austin. I love to be under the covers and breathing cold air. A personal preference for sure, but Ive never not been able to control the temperature in a room before. The stay was incredible. Very professional staff and polite. Definitely will consider the W hotel again. The only concern I had was with the valet. I have a new F-150 fully loaded (I know its not a Lamborghini or a Ferrari) but I dropped it off with valet and went up to my room to drop some stuff off and came back down and I saw that my truck was sitting […] by itself, running, window down with no staff around to guard it. We stayed at the W in Austin and our stay was great. All the staff was very attentive including the valet, check-in, concierge, wait-staff in both the restaurant and bar areas. Upon arrival we had an issue with the room that with undetermined root cause. Instead of blaming us or the booking site Sheena simply called the manager Josh and the two of them […] rectified our issue in jest few minutes during a very busy weekend. The concierge was printed some last minute concert tickets so we were not late for the show. Citava our waitress in the bar remembered our name from the night before and not only made us feel welcomed at happy hour but also recommended her favorite place in town for amazing comfort food. The valet never let me open the car door and we got offered directions every departure. Pillows were perfect and the room was well insulated from noise outside hallway. "The W Austin..."
Beautiful property...Right next door to the Moody Theatre and great restaurants...It's a bit modern in decor, so if you're more old school it may not be for you...I enjoyed it a lot!...Gecontroleerde Hotels.com gastenbeoordeling

"All was very good except a few things"
I was visiting Austin for business. A quick weekend trip and back home. Everything was great from the hotel valet, front desk, and room service. However when i tried to shower in the morning, the water pressure was barely anything. I ended up having to take a bath. I understand trying to be eco friendly but this was just unacceptable. Other than that, […] the walls are a bit thin, so you could hear doors slamming, and people walking in the hall. It did not affect my sleep so overall it was a good stay.
