Residence Le Soleil bevindt zich aan de rivierpromenade van Lourdes, dicht bij Musée Grévin de Lourdes, Sanctuaires Notre-Dame de Lourdes en Basilique du Rosaire et de l'Immaculee Conception. In de buurt liggen ook Basilique St-Pie-X en Chateau de Lourdes.

Dit hotel heeft een bar/lounge. Een draadloze internetverbinding is gratis beschikbaar in openbare ruimtes. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere meertalig personeel, koffie in de lobby en een televisie in de lobby. Gasten kunnen gratis parkeren. De accommodatie kan gasten na het uitchecken verlengde parkeerrechten geven (tegen toeslag). Dit is een rookvrije accommodatie. De volledige renovatie van deze accommodatie werd in februari 2010 voltooid.

Residence Le Soleil heeft 30 kamers met airconditioning. Gasten hebben een gratis draadloze internetverbinding op de kamer. Elke kamer heeft een flatscreen televisie met kanalen via satelliet.
Bij dit hotel met 3 sterren beschikt elke kamer over een kitchenette met een magnetron. Een huishoudservice is dagelijks beschikbaar. Op de kamers van Residence Le Soleil mag niet worden gerookt.

Vanwege zijn ligging (niet in de drukke straten van Lourdes waar veel mensen tot laat de winkels in- en uitlopen), kun je s'nachts heel goed uitrusten. De vuilniswagen rijden ook vaak s'nachts laat langs alle straten van Lourdes. Ze geven veel adviezen over restaurant, de kortste weg naar de heiligdom, de bussen, goede restaurants, bezienswaardigheden, de taxi's enz. Wij voelden helemaal thuis in dit hotel. 2 personeels spreken nederlands.

Hotel voldeed prima aan de verwachting, wel iets verder van het centrum, maar loopafstand goed te doen.

Nederlands management onder leiding van een deskunige vrouw garandeert huiselijke sfeer op topnivo. Kamers prachtig ruim en comfortabel. Eindelijk eens een badkamer waar over is nagedacht en waar het douchen een belefenis is.
Afhankelijk van het hotelbeleid kan voor extra personen een toeslag worden aangerekend.
Bij het inchecken dien je in het geval van incidentele kosten een erkend identiteitsbewijs en een borgsom in contanten of creditcard voor te leggen.

"hotel dichtbij de sanctuary"
Heel goed gelegen bij de grot, kerk... voor het centrum van de stad moet je wel 25 min wandelen rekenen, nette kamer met kitchenette, alleen de matras was een beetje minder. Rustig gelegen, vriendelijk hotelpersoneel. Ons bezoek was 2-3 november: positief is dat je rustig kunt wandelen, geen massatoerisme, er was veel gesloten (hotels, winkels) de kaarsjesprocessie […] stopt ook eind oktober. Lees meer
The breakfast was not worth 9 euros but I had a kitchentte and microwave, so went to the market and bought food and made it very convenient.
"Not so Nice Surprise and Not so Friendly Staff"
We stayed there for 2 nights. It was a surprise to us that they did not provide clean room service and there was no towel/toilet tissue etc. replenishment because according to the rude staff, the rate we paid through hotels.com did not include that service. The manager was a bit better although still arrogant. (He did give us a set of towels even we […] booked two rooms.) When I told him I was not aware of that 'policy' they had, he said in return that he got thousands of visitors and I was the only one who did not know about that. What a way to respond to a customer! "juz a budget hotel ......"
This hotel being so far away from the Grotto should provide better basic facilities like coffee/tea amenities in the room instead of selling it at the reception area to be more attractive n competitive. We booked a quad room and that came with a double and single bed with spring mattresses but the double decker had cheap stuffed ones which were not […] comfortable at all. Only a long bolster was provided on the beds so the two sleeping on the double bed had to share this long bolster as a pillow! Overall this place is ok if you're just staying for a couple of nights and you don't have any elderly in your group. The young british guy at reception was very friendly and courteous but he's not going to be there long. However the other chaps were also friendly so I guess if you're on a budget as we were then perhaps this might be a good place for you. But beware .... for an elderly person walking to the grotto it could take about 30min of slow walking up and down some slight slopes on the road. There are plenty of other small hotels almost next door to the Grotto but of course they would probably cost a little more so do some checking first. My advice to fellow catholics who are coming here to Lourdes with the elderly is to get a hotel as close as possible to the Grotto as the frequent rain and cold can tire them easily so its better to exit quickly to rest at their rooms but for the healthy get a room up on the hill where there are plenty of good restaurants and shopping outlets to pass your leisure time. "Lourdes Visit"
Hotel Residence Le Soleil was very easy to find. The receptionist and hotel staff were very helpful in all aspects. Our room was clean, comfortable and suited our needs, there was a small kitchenette which we never used although the fridge was a bonus for cold drinks. Continental breakfast was good but at €8 per person per day we thought slightly high. […] It was a shame the hotel does not do an evening meal, their sister hotel where we had a subsidised meal was a short walk away but up some flight of stairs, a disappointment was no bar facilities in the hotel. The hotel was in a good position, close enough to all the religious sites but far enough away from the hustle and bustle. Would we use this hotel again, I am unsure as there are an enormous amount of hotels in Lourdes, and we would probably choose one with a restaurant and bar. Alll in all a decent hotel. Lees meer
This is a quiet hotel just outside the pay parking area, which was very handy. The owner/manageress was very helpful even though she did not speak any English. We got what we expected and the hotel is good value for money.

This is exactly the hotel that my family likes, very new & clean hotel with quiet surroundings, friendly owner/personnel, very reasonably priced rooms and buffet breakfasts, and just a 5-8 minutes walk to the grotto.

Cet hôtel est un peu éloigné de la grotte (comparé aux autres hôtels de Lourdes) par contre l'hôtel est ouvert en période creuse (pas le restaurant). La chambre est spacieuse et moyennement propre et le personnel plutôt sympa. François

Bon accueil : personnel dévoué et à l'écoute. Chambre très propre et très bien équipée avec kitchenette comprenant micro ondes frigo plaques. TV toutes chaines françaises comme étrangères. 10 minutes à pied du centre ville. Stationnement aisé dans la rue. Accès Wifi depuis la chambre. Bonne isolation.

Alors que nos vacances se sont poursuivies dans un autre hôtel, mais discount cette fois çi, je me dois de dire haut et fort, que la Résidence du soleil, était un palace en comparaison et pour seulement 4 euros de différence. Calme, espace, confort, propeté, acceuil, font de cet hôtel une marque de respect pour le client. Et en plus, tout juste à 10' […] à pied du sanctuaire. Personnel très accueillant, très bonne prise en charge des clients dès leur arrivée, on s'y sent très à l'aise, très propre, je vous recommande vraiment cet hôtel, j'ai déjà testé plusieurs hôtels à Lourdes mais là c'était comme à la maison!! J'ai pris une chambre avec kitchenette, vraiment tout confort!!

Nous avons réservé une chambre double, nous avons eu un appartement tout confort pour 4 pers. avec kitchenette à un prix plus que raisonnable. Il s'agit d'une résidence hôtelière qui accueille aussi bien des couples que des familles ou des groupes. Le parking se fait au pied de l'immeuble sans "chichi".La résidence est située proche du Gave de Pau dans […] une rue calme et tranquille. L'établissement est spacieux avec des espaces lecture, TV, Wifi. Le petit déjeuner est correct. On accède à la Basilique et à la Grotte à pieds. Lees meer
Preis/Leistungsverhältnis absolut in Ordnung! Grosszügige Leistung kleiner Preis Das Zimmer verfügte sogar um ein zusätzliches Kajutenbett für zwei Kinder und kleine Kochmöglichkeit Kühlschrank + TV. Vorteile: sehr warmherzige Stimmung Nachteile: ringhörige Böden und Fenster Doch sehr empfehlenswert!
El hotel está bien pero no hay realmente personas que hablen español (una de casualidad y muy poco). El desayuno me pareció caro en cuanto a la calidad y variedad siendo buffet. Teniendo la categoría de 3 estrellas también le faltan detalles, como el champú, un cepillo de dientes que se puede olvidar, etc..., siempre comparando otros de su misma categoria. […] Indican parking gratuito, pero.....no dicen que es en la calle y eso no es parking. "Hotel a 10 minutos andando de la basílica"
los colchones de las habitaciones eran muy viejos y deformados, las almuadas no tenían ropa protectora. Habitación amplia y luminosa.

Excellent rapport qualité/prix. Les chambres sont spacieuses et impeccables. Très bon service client, le personnel est charmant. Nous reviendrons sans aucun doute dans cet hôtel lors de notre prochain séjour à Lourdes.

Tres bien comme hotel, avec un accueil chaleureux et le per sonnel super gentil. Nous allons souvent à Lourdes, maintenant on se posera plus de questions, nous retournerons dans celui ci. Hotel super propre.
