Very good and safe location almost next door with Kyoto station and malls Kyoto Porta and Avanti. Several more malls within 10 mins walk. Doubleroom of decent size and doublebed of 180 cm. Bed was hard as a rock though so if you got problems with this - pick another hotel. Breakfast was too weird for me but fiance tried it once. No wifi available at […] all was a huge letdown! Good cleaning and friendly staff of which most didn't speak English. Overall we had a nice stay at this hotel and if you consider the low price this is a BARGAIN! But they should get softer beds and wifi asap (please!). Lees meer

We only stayed here 1 night. But the deluxe double room was spacious and comfortable. My only complaint about the room would be that the lighting could have been brighter. Especially the bathroom which was gorgeous but rather dimly lit. Would probably be great for anyone who suffers migraines or plans on waking up with a hangover. Room is very pleasant, bright and spacious.

Clean, tidy, comfortable and very good services. 10 mins walk from Kyoto station.

Japanese-sized (smaller) rooms, but nice and clean. The bed was a bit hard and we couldn't find any English TV stations in the room - but overall - a fairly nice place and within walking distance to the major train station and many temples. Maybe not 5 stars - but NO complaints. Quiet and AMAZING service.

The surrounding area is silent. The Kyoto station can be arrived with 5mins walk. A good car parking place can be provided with reasonable price,

Worth for money, new, convenient can clean

Absolutely loved the hotel--just a few minutes walk from the main train station--and despite the low rates, the hotel was very well equipped and clean. I do a lot of traveling both for business and pleasure, and I have to say this is the best value of money I have ever seen!

The location is perfect. Only two or three blocks away from gigantic Kyoto Station. Close enough to enjoy all shops/restaurants in/near the station but far enough from noisy and crowded station. Near to a couple of convenience stores. Very near to a Limo bus stop to Kansai airport. Room was cozy and clean, but not that fancy. One thing I want to say. […] Whoever took those pictures of the hotel on the web advertisement page did a GREAT job. ;-) The actual hotel does not look that fancy and grand. It is rather a small business hotel. But it is a good enough hotel to stay for lone travelers like me who stayed two days at Kyoto. Lees meer

This hotel is conveniently located close to Kyoto train station in about 2 block comfortable walking distance from Hachijo East Exit at the train station. It is next door to the Avanti Department store. The rooms are small but new and well kept. A great value is their breakfast buffet. Excellent situation; near Kyoto station with a lot of restaurants and shops nearby. Coin laundry at de 5th floor. Free cable internet at the room. Free wi-fi at the lobby, but only for mobile with japanese companies.

I wish all hotels would give better directions to find them... this one... knowing which train or subway exit to take would help! That being said, this was a very nice hotel, easy walking distance with rolling suitcase Buffet breakfast is available for charge. Found on sale... usual prices pretty spendy.

Great location - just a short walk from Kyoto station. Just head towards Avanti and head down that street. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was great and so quiet. Stayed here twice on different occasions and would stay again!!!!

My first stay in Japan. Very pleased with this hotel, though I cannot comment on breakfast, which I didn't take. What I missed was a chance to take the stairs from the ground floor to my floor and back. Strange for a hotel built last year (2010). I tried once, ended up in the basement in the locker of the cleaning staff ;-) But maybe that's what safety […] regulations call for. The cleaning was overdone by my standards. Even when I posted the "don't clean" magnet on the door, I found a paper bag with clean towel and robe outside the room. Good internet connection (LAN, cable included). A bit unclear as to where the teapot plugs in. The tap has a "good for drinking" label, but I couldn't get water that's cold, so the luke-warm water didn't taste that good. We stayed at this hotel 2 nights. It is situated very close to Kyoto station and within walking distance from the bus stop for bus #8 from Osaka Airport. Nice, friendly athmosphere, clean. If you are not interested in fancy bars and stores to shop jewelry, this type of hotel is perfect. We thought we had forgotten a present in the room (which we had […] not, it turned out) so we went back to ask for it. I was at this hotel while attending a conference at the convention center in Kyoto. The convention center is pretty much as far away as you can get from the city, so you need to take the subway to get there no matter where you stay (unless you stay at the on-center hotel, which is ridiculously expensive). I found the Daiwa Roynet to be nice, clean, […] well-designed rooms with plenty of desk space to work - it's a small hotel, more like a boutique than a sprawling mega-hotel which I preferred. The proximity to Kyoto Station was incredibly convenient, both for taking the subway to the conference center and for picking up subways and buses to the surrounding temples and shrines. I don't speak any Japanese and did not have any problems with check in, check out, or figuring out the Internet. Great place. Lees meer

We stayed at this hotel for 7 nights and were very happy with the convenience of the location. It's so close to Kyoto station and across the road from convenience stores etc. The staff couldn"t have been more helpful. We speak very little Japanese and had a problem with losing prescription glasses so reception staff made a phone call etc. to help us. […] The room was spotless although a little small - as many hotel rooms in Japan are - but all the necessities were there. This hotel was in a great location for transport, right beside the train and bus stations. However, it is slightly removed from the cultural heart of Kyoto. The bus system in Kyoto is very easy to use though and the staff in the station were very helpful. We stayed here for one night in April 2011 and had an excellent stay. We left our luggage with the front desk both before check-in and after check-out while we were out seeing sights, and the front desk was very friendly about it. We were also given very clear directions anytime we asked. The hotel is an easy 5 min walk from the train station. We did […] take a cab from the train station and back to grab our luggage on the way out of town, as it was pouring rain, and it was only 700 yen, which was quite reasonable for a roundtrip ride. Very clean and modern hotel close to Kyoto station and there are 3 convenient stores within working distance. Room is spotless and very modern. can't complain about anything. Breakfast was good, but if you don't like healthy japanese food, it's not for you. There are so much to see in Kyoto, you won't spend too much time in the room. I was very satisfied […] to stay here. 飯店看起來蠻新的，客房也很乾淨，唯一美中不足的是沒有wifi。

飯店有為女性顧客預備生活小物品，例如：髮圈、髮夾等...另外還在桌上預備小立鏡，方便女生化妝使用。 從飯店門口就可以直接看到京都車站，距離大約走路5分鐘可達，另外附近便利商店及餐飲店也不少，還有大創可以逛，採買物品很方便的呢！！ 服務人員的態度都很nice，英文溝通也都很順利。客房環境很乾淨、住起來很舒適，非常推薦！！

Hotellet har ett bra läge om man kommer med tåg till Kyoto, några minuters gångavstånd bara. Vårt dubbelrum var inte stort men funktionellt. Rent och fräscht.

飯店距離京都車站非常近,房間比一般日本飯店來的大,清潔人員很認真的清潔,服務人員很親切,飯店大廳有免費桌上型電腦可用,整體住宿品質相當良好,唯一就是房間及大廳沒有免費wifi可以,有點不便...

京都車站向南走2個路口可到，位置方便，服務人員親切，房間及大廳很有設計感，隔音不錯，下次仍會考慮入住。但飯店招牌無漢字，要記得其英文名稱，不然可能會找不到。

打折後，經濟實惠，交通便利，飯店整體環境還不錯！兩人同行自助旅遊者值得參考。

Ett bra och mycket prisvärt hotell nära till stationen och biluthyrning.

Tämä on vaatimaton, mutta kaikin puolin hyvä hotelli lähellä Kioton rautatieasemaa. Huoneet ovat pienehköt, mutta siistit. Sängyt olivat kovia, mutta ainakin me nukuimme hyvin. Hyvä hinta-laatusuhde Suosittelemme kaikille kohtuuhintaista majapaikkaa Kiotosta etsiville.

地點與京都JR只需步行5-10分中. 對於需要拖拉大行李的我非常方便. 而且亦很近9條SUBWAY STATION. 酒店設計有格調. 房內簡單而舒適. 接待員亦能有耐性講解附近名勝及交通工具. 值得讚!

Nice quiet location yet conveniently close to Kyoto railway and bus stations. Staff at hotel reception spoke good English and were friendly and helpful. I had a single room for a week. Overall is O.K. If free WiFi service is available will be an addition credit.

단점부터 말하자면 교토 이용시의 버스정류장의 정반대에 위치해서 교토역을 가로질러 건너가야 해서 불편했습니다(여행시 중간에 숙소를 가야할 경우에 상당히 불편하더군요) 그외에 다른건 특별히 단점은 없었구요 객실은 비지니스 호텔 답게 작긴 하였으나 깨끗하고 편안히 잘 지냈습니다.

Während eines Kongresses entschied ich mich für dieses Hotel. Ausgezeichnetes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Bequem vom Bahnhof und U Bahn zu Fuss erreichbar! Auch mt Koffer!

Magnifique hotel, très bon service, les chambres étaient superbes, le personnel parlait très raisonablement anglais.
