This hotel is great if you're looking to stay out by the airport. There isn't anything around there but they do have a great restaurant on site. Internet is 9.99/24 hours which isn't bad considering how bad wifi is in New Zealand and with the free shuttle to and from the airport, you can't beat it. It's brand new and extremely clean.

I really like this hotel, close to the airport with Complimentary shuttle bus, was a excellent surprise. I did not know it and was looking something close to the airport. I will be back there.

Good new hotel. 15mins from airport, but shuttle provided between 3 hotels. Situated in a warehouse area.

This was the first time that we had encountered the Sudima brand and we were most impressed with the condition of the hotel, its proximity to the airport and great value. Front Desk staff were most efficient, but we felt that restaurant staff needed more training. I can thoroughly recommend this hotel. The staff were pleasant and helpful, the room clean and quiet. The breakfast food available was excellent, as was the 'Club Sandwich' and the 'Cajun Chicken Salad' I order during the day. Its 5 stars from me :-)

The hotel is new. Staff generally friendly and helpful. They have tea and coffee maker in the room and they can certainly further improve their service by providing a mini fridge in the room. Nice comfortable clean modern hotel. The staff were very friendly we ordered 2 bar meals for our room and they were delivered for us as well good food and very quiet room excellent.

The Sudima is a good quality hotel close to the airport so if you have a brief layover or are flying out early the next morning, it's incredibly convenient. It's new, modern and clean. Staff are friendly and efficient. However, it's in an ugly industrial neighbourhood with zero amenities nearby. The hotel staff were very helpful and accommodating. We stayed here on two different occasions while flying in and out of the airport. The rooms were very nice and comfortable. The shuttle service was very convenient. I recommend this hotel without reservation.

Bags delivered to room before I finished checking in at the desk, and no tip expected!. Staff running over to push elevator button or hold door. These are just two examples of the outstanding service at this hotel. Excellent Hotel, great and comfortable rooms and serveice. close to airport with free shuttle running every half hour even late at night. Only thing to improve the dining room that is way too noisy.

Pick up at airport every 30 minutes. Bus drops at two other hotels first, then ours. Had problem with TV someone from front desk to room in less than 3 minutes. Friend also staying there had problem setting air conditioner and someone came to the room promptly. Conference going on so dining room very noisy with conference people eating.

If you're looking for a convenient and comfortable stay close to the Auckland airport, this is a good choice. It's a free 10-min shuttle ride from the airport (shuttles every half hour). The service from the host staff was great. The breakfast was also one of the best I've ever had at a hotel at this price. You won't beat it elsewhere. Only complaint if I could find one is that the shower head is great if you're 5' 6.

The hotel is new and less than a year old so it is in excellent shape and it is very modern. The rooms are spacious, very comfortable and clean. If you get a room facing the west and the sun is shining your room will be like an oven when you walk in since they keep the drapes open. New Zealand like Australia are very energy conscious and there is no […] electricity in the room until you put your room card into a slot switch to active the lights and AC. It took about 30 minutes for our room to cool down to a comfortable temperature. I question the location of the hotel. It is in a warehouse district, DHL is on one side a moving and storage company is across the street and other industrial businesses around it that service the airport. There is a motel on the other side. Other than their restaurant and perhaps the motel next door there are no other options for food. If you are travelling and don’t have a car I want to warn you about the dining room. The food is very expensive. For example if you are American they serve a NZ$17.00 hamburger (available only well done) with some type of chili sauce ketchup. The steak sandwich which was very good is NZ$17.00, the entrée Chicken Caesar salad is NZ$22.00 and a bowl of soup served with a couple of rolls is NZ $12.00. The service in the dining room is very slow. The serving staff was pleasant except the hostess who showed a negative attitude when I questioned why I had to fill out a form with my name, room number and what meal service I was attending to enter the dining room. I guess there must be some type of trust issues with their guest or perhaps it is just a custom. I don’t know the hostess never explained why. She said it just was the way they did it. The service in the dining room is 2 out of 5 stars at best. I did have a problem with my order and complained to the hotel duty manager. He was very respectful. Overnight he wrote us a letter of apology and did not charge for our meal in the dining room that evening. The front Lees meer

Hotel looked lovely but need to pay more attention to the rooms. Beds were rock hard and the cover on top of both queen beds were dirty. The bathroom door creaked so loudly when opened and closed it surely would have woken everyone in the surrounding rooms at night. Must have been like that for a while! Hotel is situated amongst factories. The shuttle only took around 5 minutes to get to the airport at 4am which was good. We only stayed one night as it was close to the airport and we had an early morning flight. I'm glad I got a half price deal that was running on Hotels.com for booking early. We stayed one night here as we were attending a function nearby. Hotel van was made available with driver to take us to the function - and he also picked us up at no charge, which was fantastic. Hotel staff were very helpful and accommodating, rooms were clean and comfortable. We were very pleased with the general standard. We stayed overnight at Sudima on arrival and for a final 2 days. The location worked great for saving on car costs for those days, being able to shuttle to airport and bus from there downtown. The hotel itself is fresh, modern, and spotless, and the room was great. I'd do it again with no hesitation.

Arrived into Auckland airport around midnight. Had to wait a while to get the shuttle bus (about 20 minutes). Hotel was nice. Staff were friendly. Excellent for a stay when you need to be close to the airport.

We stayed at the Sudima one night on arrival and for our final 2 nights without car. The quality, location, and shuttle were the reasons for selecting it. Beautiful new hotel near the airport. Very comfortable beds, sparkling clean, two complimentary bottles of water. Excellent customer service. Located in a sort of industrial setting - nothing to see & about 45 miles from city. No shops, restaurants, etc nearby. Hotel breakfast is mediocre and very expensive. The transfers to and from the airport was greatly appreciated. Very efficient and fast.

This was a really lovely hotel. Booked as close to airport and where we had to drop off motorhome. Comfort and luxurywas much appreciated after a week in motorhome!! Staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. There was a free transfer to airport next day. We went into Auckland to meet a family member but there are quite a few pubs, shops etc within […] walking distance if you didnt want to eat at hotel. Would definitely book there again if we return. Stayed overnight as we had a morning flight to catch. Hotel was very stylish and we had one of the best meals in our month-long trip. Very pleased with everything.

Very nice airport hotel. Nothing around it as far as eating or quick shopping.

Great Hotel. Quiet. This is great for late nights / early morning flights. Close to airport. Because of disability could not catch the shuttle bus(free), had to catch a cab from airport to hotel ...less than 5 min drive ...cost $30...that was a bit rich.. Lets hope they keep up the cleanliness ...a real winner for females!

The Sudima Hotel in Auckland is very good, the rooms are excellent as is the service and staff, very handy for the airport. But is not noisy. A good base got the start of a holiday on the north island

Lovely clean hotel with very helpful staff. The buffet breakfast was well worth having. Full cooked menu, bacon, scrambled eggs, sausage, mushrooms, tomato, pancakes, potato nuggets.... The hotel was easy to get to from the airport and is served by a free airport shuttle bus every 30 mins 24/7. I had business in the close-by area so the location was ideal. The hotel appears to be very new and I could not fault my room for facilities or for cleanliness. I had a room service meal and it was delivered on time and the quality was very good. No complaints on that score either.
