Beoordeeld door een gast van Hotels.com op 1 dec, 2012Het hotel was perfect gelegen tussen het grote winkelgebied en diverse uitgaansgelegeneheden als pubs en clubs. Zo'n 10 minuten lopen van de Albert Dock, de haven, waar onder andere ook The Beatles Story is gelegen. Veel van de beroemde Beatle plaatsen zijn op loopafstand. Het hotel is modern en netjes. Op de kamer is een mini-keuken met magnetron en koelkastje. Je bent zelfvoorzienend. IN het restaurant is geen mogelijkheid tot ontbijt of diner. Maar met de Tesco, supermarkt, om de hoek, kun je zelf aan de slag. 24 uur per dag is er iemand achter de receptie. Als je gaatvoor de Beatles, winkelenm uit eten en uitgaan is dit het perfecte hotel voor alles!

We thought the hotel reception area was out of the Ark and the bedroom was also old fashioned but the dining room was modern with very nice decor. The rooms throughout the hotel were not warm enough and there was an overall aroma of oriental food which we do not like . However the breakfast was good and we only paid £80 in total for a two night B&B […] stay . Max the owner is a one man band , who tries very hard to make your stay as comfortable as possible . The hotel is a simple resort b&b with nothing fancy just adequate for a short stay . close to all amenities, stones throw away from the sea, 5 mins away by car from central location area, nice and quiet on the evening so if you want a great sleep ready for the next day. Hospitality of the owners were great, even practiced some of my Japanese! We arrived Saturday for the Easter Break staying for one night only. The hotel had a nice and welcoming feel. The owner greeted us at Reception and made us feel very welcome. The Double En Suite room was very clean, the bed comfortable and the full breakfast was plentiful, everying was just right for our stay. The surrounding neighbourhood was quiet […] away from the night life. The hotel location was ideal for our stroll along Marina Drive. The Whitworth Falls is a good quality hotel, it's clean and tidy and has a good harty breakfast to offer. The major plus side is the owner Max, a genuine warm welcome, nothing was too much trouble we were made to feel like old friends.
