The hotel is right next to the Dallas Convention Center. Since Dallas is quite spread out and the convention center itself is extremely large, if you... are coming for a convention, I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else, as a stay at this hotel will save you a lot of walking. It is connected to the convention center, and some of our conference events were in the hotel, which has a number of ballrooms and meeting rooms. The room was really nice and modern, with a clock radio with an iPod dock, a flat screen TV that was inside a mirrored case, so could be hidden, and a TV built into the mirror in the bathroom (very high tech! I'd never seen that before!). The room had a fantastic view of the Dallas skyline, which is very pretty at night. You can get free internet and coffee/tea if you sign up for the hotel's loyalty program. The only complaint I had was about service - my room didn't have an iron, and I had to call twice before they brought one. Other than that, the stay was perfect.
