Hotel Charles Central in Praag

Price to quality was very good. Hotel was a bit spartan, but nothing was broken or missing. Breakfast was good, and location next to public transport, and within walking distance of Namesti Republiky was very convenient.

Large room, friendly staff and a good breakfast service, but the beds were uncomfortable and the bathroom very shabby. Also the curtains didn't fit the window and it was quite noisy. Good for students, but not for people who are used to a bit higher standard.

Personeel was erg vriendelijk kamers erg gehorig toen de taxi niet kwam om ons naar het vliegveld te brengen deden ze heel veel moeite om ons te helpen (de taxi was ook opzet vliegveld niet verschenen) dat was klasse.

Prijs kwaliteit verhouding is perfect. Ontbijt is goed te doen. Onder het hotel zit een overheerlijke pizzeria. Tegenover het hotel zit de metro. Kortom een top locatie. Kamer is wat gedateerd maar dat is alles in Praag. Douche doet het perfect, de bedden kraken behoorlijk.

Gezien de prijsklasse is het een prima hotel. Personeel aardig en altijd bereid te helpen. Er werd prima schoongemaakt. Het ontbijtbuffet is ronduit fantastisch: allerlei soorten brood en beleg, verschillende soorten ontbijtgranen met melk en yoghurt ,vers fruit en verse groenten, scrambled eggs , gewone eieren, worstjes, augurken, gemixte groenten […] en allerlei cakejes. Hotel located right in front of subway station and trolley station is just up the street. There are very nice restaurants within a city block. I found the hotel clean, secure, friendly staff, excellent breakfast, and lots of hot water for my daily shower! We stayed in a family room which was clean and big enough for 5 persons. The bathroom and the toilet were outside our room and shared with another room. However, nobody stayed in the next room, so we did not feel any inconvenience using the bathroom and the toilet. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and some spoke very fluent english which was great. So easy to find from the train station - just a few stops on the metro line and youre right on the hotel doorstep. Breakfast buffet blew our minds! Very good rates too

For the price, this hotel gets the job done. Internet was slow and the shower temperature was difficult to regulate. Arrived at the hotel only to find that they had overbooked and had no rooms for us, 2 hours of arguing later with a member of staff that did not care, led to us having to stay at a hotel miles from the city centre. I stayed at the Charles Central Hotel from Aug 27-29, 2012 on a business trip to Prague. Having previously lived in the city, I wanted to be in Karlin, and close to a Metro stop. Immediately outside the metro station and next to a tram stop, despite this hotel being outside the old town it is very quick and easy access to it. Besides having unexpected excellent hot breakfast, including eggs and sausage, I would say it is just a very so so hotel. Some of the lights didn't work, staff was not very friendly (although not impolite), and facilities were old. The worst is that no morning call reached the room even the staff on the night before made promise to do it. The staff […] said that it was because the telephone didn't work. Velfungerende hotel med god service fra personalet. Dog ingen luksus. Flere gode spisesteder i kvarteret, og hotellet ligger super centralt i forhold til metro - to stop og man står midt i det historiske Prag.
