Room and service was great. Very friendly staff. Would have been perfect if the hotel had a swimming pool. There is no beach in the town of puerto princesa. Very hot and busy. Nice evening walk along the promonade. The closest beach resort is 8km away which we went to for the day and was well worth it for relaxing and swimming. The beach is shallow […] way out so safe and great for children. The island hopping tour was well worth it too. Book earlyonline for the underwater river tour. We missed out which was disappointing . The famous restaurants in puerto princesa are far to walk from this hotel. You have to take tricycle cab.. Lees meer

The hotel room is new and very comfy.the breakfast is awesome and delicious.the staff are very helpful.location is very convenient,but i would have rated this 5 over all if it has a pool to make it complete

Considering its one of the more expensive hotels in the city, I can't say its worth it. The bed is hard as a rock, no wifi in the rooms and even though its free in the lobby, it didn't work when we tried. Plus, even though I paid more for a king size bed, they didn't have it and was stuck in a single bed that was also rock-hard and poor quality linen. […] The front desk was also not very helpful or knowledgable. It was a very cozy place. The towels were dirty and there was a blood stain the sheets. However the staff was nice. There are not many vegetarian options in the hotel menu if you are vegetarian, however the room makes up for it. The beds are pretty comfortable.

it was short but very pleasant. the staff were very helpful, courteous and friendly. Given another chance to visit Palawan, I'll check in the same hotel again.

We stayed at this hotel for 8 nights. When we booked it we wanted to make sure that it was comfortable and relatively nice to stay in. The website did not mention that there was a complimentary hotel shuttle so we were planning to just take a taxi. To our surprise, there was a Sunlight van waiting with out names on it. We did not have to worry about […] getting a taxi and/or getting lost. When we checked in, the room we got was very spacious and clean. We knew we would be comfortable the rest of our stay. However, across the way outside there was construction at all hours of the night. So, after 2 nights we asked to change rooms and they gladly changed our rooms with no questions asked. Every time we asked for towels or anything, the staff were quick to respond with a smile on their face. We were familiar faces staying there for so long but enjoyed it. The complimentary breakfast was nicer than usual. There were always many selection and servers were always there ready to help. The location was ideal as well. It is near the airport. The hotel also accommodates tours by working with nearby travel agencies. We went on a tour to the Honda Bay islands which ended up being entirely different than what was on the itinerary. We were disappointed and brought our concerns to the hotel. They were empathetic and talked to the agency and we managed to pay half price for the tour. I am a single American woman and traveled to the Philippines alone. There is no way I could come up with a single negative thing to say about this wonderful hotel. The staff...I don't even know how to begin! So incredibly nice, thorough and thoughtful. Somehow a bellman found out that I needed to go to a pharmacy the next day. He came on his day off […] and offered to drive me and came inside with me just in case I needed assistance!!! A front desk gal helped me track down 2 other americans I had met on an adventure tour. I didn't know their full names or where they were staying. She called the tourist agency, found out their names, where they were staying and had left a message with their front desk clerk by the time I came down for breakfast. I was able to reach them and we went on a FANTASTIC caving trip the next day.My room had a gorgeous view of the bay, mountains and was extremely clean. I plan on returning to Palawan next year and there is no way I'd stay anywhere else. Lees meer

I was there only 2 days but that was enough to notice that the hotel is a real gem in term of quality and friendly staff. room is fairly big with large screen lcd tv, nice clean bathroom, prompt service with lots of smile. thanks to the chef/waiters for accomodating our special request for breakfast menu. if not for the internet access, our stay could have been perfect (no wi-fi, internet access in the room!!! very important nowadays) only in the lobby and restaurant. […] by the way lobby is excellent with multiple sofa sets.. This hotel was a mixed bag. Staff were friendly and very cooperative, they organized a birthday cake for my partner. Couldn't have been happier with that. The room was very comfortable and had a lovely bathroom with separate shower and bath. It was clean and comfortable. There were two things wrong with this hotel. Firstly, its location. Set in the […] heart of Puerto Princesa and as part of a shopping complex it was not what I expected. Described as overlooking the bay (which it does) but I wouldn't call it a serene environment. I expected nice clean beaches, but not so. The other disappointment was the food..mainly breakfast. As a westerner there was very little I wanted to eat, though the egg station was okay. The worst things was there was a conference in the hotel and every morning the dining room was divided into two. While we ate breakfast, the conference was in full swing with people praising each other over a loud microphone cheering and clapping...a little much at 8am over breakfast. An important point to note about visiting Palawan....we missed doing the underground river trip because it is booked out for over a month. This is not something that was pointed out in any of my research. A tip...there is an australian and his wife who run 'Alexandra Motorcycle for Hire'. Most of the rooms have no real view, just to an inside corridoor. If you want view you hawe to upgrade to deluxe room and that is expencive. The location is far from the beach and not many restaurants close to the hotal. The service and staff is great. Very friendly service

Using Expedia, made a quick decision to enjoy Palawan for a few days. Chose this hotel because of the location near the large airport. Questioned my decision when we pulled up to the hotel. But, once inside.....wow!!! Room was absolutely amazing, large living area, very large bathroom, bay view with a large veranda. Big screen tv included. The staff […] were very pleasant, always smiling, and there when we needed them. The dining area had a full wall of glass with a wonderful view of the bay and mountains. The hotel was in the same building as a small department store and grocery store, a plus. Yet also close to downtown. The bathroom had a wall made of a window, could sit in the tub and view the bay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, friends and strangers, going to Puerto Princesa. The staffs are friendly and courteous. The hotel is close to shopping center and market. It is very convenient. The hotel is provided with WI-FI.

Chambre sans réelle fenêtre sur l'extérieur : nous donnions sur un couloir à l'intérieur de l'hôtel, face à une autre chambre, du coup on se sent un peu à l'étroit car on garde les rideaux fermés pour plus d'intimité...En revanche, pour le petit déjeuner, le restaurant offre une vue très agréable.

L'emplacement du Sunlight Guest Hotel est surprenant : en arrivant, on vous dit que la réception est au quatrième étage. On comprend ensuite que l'hôtel occupe le haut de l'immeuble qui abrite le shopping mall Unitop. C'est un avantage pour faire des courses, et aussi pour revenir à l'hôtel : tous les conducteurs de tricycles savent aller à Unitop. Les […] chambres sont grandes et bien équipées, avec une grande salle de bains bien pensee où tout fonctionne. Les chambres sont dotées de nombre de prises de courant, ce qui est très pratique pour recharger tous ses objets électroniques. Le premier soir nous avons eu une chambre dont la fenêtre donnait sur un corridor. Dès le lendemain matin nous avons été transférés dans une chambre avec la vue sur le port, ce qui allait mieux. Le petit déjeuner est inclus, et consiste en un buffet, ou les choses les pus attrayantes sont le pain et les œufs. Le café est mauvais, très mauvais. Le Wifi n'est disponible qu'à la réception et au restaurant, pas dans les chambres. Lees meer

Отель супер, но в самом городе нет зон для купания. нет пляжей, делать в Пуэрто-Принцессе особо нечего, кроме того, как ездить на экскурсии, для которых 3 дней вполне достаточно. Мы ездили в Эль Нидо, небольшая деревушка, откуда можно попасть на девственно красивые острова, увидеть потрясающие пейзажи. Но и там 4 дней с головой вполне хватит.

Very kind staff that always met your request with a smile and helped as much they could. The room was very beautiful and clean. A bathroom with good space. I got much more then I paied for. Thanks too all staff. I hope we meet again. I can really recommend the hotel. It was a very pleasant stay.

Jag blev nöjd med hotellet. Bra service. Centralt. Rent. För sina stjärnor är hotellet väldigt bra i sin klass. Jag hade ett supior rum och det var stort och bekvämt. Detta hotellet är helt klart mycket bättre än dem flesta i Puerto Princesa.

새로 지은 호텔이라 깨끗하고 객실 컨디션 너무 쾌적함. 다만 티비 수신 상태가 너무 안좋고 창밖 발코니가 좀 에러임. 재래시장과 마켓도 옆에 있고, 전반적으로 아주 만족!
