Excellent hotel in a great location. The staff are very pleasent and helpful, foffering good information about local areas and services. The breakfast provided was fantastic with a great variety on offer (some of which were locally inspired). Would strongly reccomend particularly if you waant to visit the eden project

St Austell was an ideal base for our Cornish holiday. Chris is very friendly & made us feel welcome. Good breakfast to start the day. Clean comfortable accommodation. On our arrival at about 3pm there was no one in - it was not made clear to us that booking in was after 5pm. This was a lovely overnight stay. A warm welcome, large, spotlessly clean room and great shower. Good (free) wi-fi and wide range of breakfast choices. It seemed a shame not to be staying longer

Our stay at Langdale House was superb, Chris the owner was absolutley brilliant, he is one of the most pleasant and helpful people you could meet.The room was spotless and comfortable, (we stayed in the Fowey en-suite room) and the breakfast is second to none, Chris's partner owns a pub in St Austell (the Hop and Vine) were we went for our first evening […] meal, the food was that good we decided to go on each of our four nights and were not dissapointed at al,l the food is delicious and the price very reasonable. Back to Langdale House, we would have no hesitation in reccomending this hotel to anyone, we could not fault it. Thanks Chris for an enjoyable stay. Lees meer

This is a beautiful B&B with every thing you could possibly need. Chris kindly met me at the station which was a great help as it is not close by. For those with their own transport it is an ideal location, for those using public transport it is within walking distance but too far with luggage. We received a warm welcome from the owner who could not have been more helpful. The room was comfortable although a little small, bathroom however was large! Breakfast was excellent. The hotel is exceptional. The host is very helpful giving me and my partner wonderful recommendations for places to visit and eat. The rooms are amazing and the bathroom is even better. Every morning we received a freshly prepared breakfast as we required. The hotel is an a convenient location. Langdale house is an excellent B&B and well worth a stay if you're looking for comfortable, but affordable accommodation in the St Austell area. I had the Fowey room, which was a reasonable sized double with very luxurious finish and an en-suite that is bigger than most family bathrooms! Langdale house was a great base for a weekend away in Cornwall, the room was spotless and extremely comfortable with a superb en-suite. I stayed here for an overnight stay while working in the area. I was stunned to find how nice the place was, from the moment I met the owner to going to sleep that night the place ticked all the boxes. Really friendly welcome, nicely appointed with new carpets and fittings throughout, really comfortable bed, great bathroom, superfast Wi-Fi and handy […] parking. A nice touch was the remote for the lights, ideal before you nod off! Soggiorno indimenticabile!!! Chris, il proprietario, ci ha accolto come a casa propria! Essendo arrivati tardi la sera, quando la maggior parte dei ristoranti sono chiusi, ha telefonato alla sua compagna che gestisce un pub nel centro del paese (con karaoke, per gli amanti del genere!), dove ci ha accompagnato con la sua macchina. Siamo stati a St Austell […] 6 giorni e in un giorno di sole ci ha invitati sulla sua splendida barca a vela, facendoci una vera e propria lezione di navigazione. Ogni nostra richiesta è stata esaudita! La stanza "Fowey", che occupavamo mio marito ed io, è piccolina ma curata ed ha un bagno spazioso con vasca ad angolo enorme che si è rivelata essenziale al termine di una piovosa giornata di visite!! Mentre la "Valley view", dove dormivano i nostri amici, era più grande, con una vista eccezionale della vallata (come suggerisce il nome) ed un letto enorme ma un bagno più piccolo con doccia. Passiamo alle colazioni....divine!!! Consiglio il full cornish breakfast! basta ampiamente fino a cena!! Grazie mille Chris!!! Consiglio veramente a tutti!!! Lees meer
