Milwaukie Inn in Milwaukie

I can't believe this place actually charged for wireless. The guy at check in gave me the code, but didn't mention ere was a charge. The room was clean, and not uncomfortable. At least there was a good breakfast place about a block away - Bomber.

We only used the room for a few hours. There was no toilet paper. NONE...the spool was empty and there was no extra roll. Thank goodness for a box of facial tissue. The lamp on the table had a broken switch so it wouldn't turn on. The front window didn't lock very well. But for what we needed it for it was cheap and discreet. Windows had no locks, the room was non smoking but smelled of stale cigarettes. Not sure the sheets were laundered, absolutely unacceptable!

It is not a hotel or an inn, it is a motel. Its not in a good part of town. It is close to two gentelmen's clubs. I would have never stayed there it I had known where it was.

This is the type of place that we put a chair in front of the door after we locked it, just because we didn't feel safe. Drunk people wandering around muttering stuff to us outside, etc. Also, the room was literally 100 degrees when we walked in and had to wait about 4 hours for the AC to cool it down while we slept in a pool of sweat. Staying at the Milwaukie Inn in Portland Oregon, was a nice experience. The staff was friendly, the hotel is older but clean and comfortable. Close to downtown Portland. Only blocks away from Fred Meyers a local store with full grocery store in it. Lots of local places to eat, and shop in the area. I would stay there again. We stayed two nights.

It's not a hotel; it's an inn, so we weren't expecting the greatest quality. But the person at the front desk, Brenda, was sweet and pleasant. The fridge in the kitchenette made a squealing noise, but not enough to bother us while sleeping. The bathroom and kitchenette were pretty nice for the price. The location overall was out of the way from Portland […] but definitely easily accessible by bus. It was a good place to stay, and I'd definitely stay there again. Lees meer
