    Hotel Castelmar ligt aan de rand net in het historisch en (deels) nog ommuurde hart van Campeche op enkele blokken afstand van de cathedraal. Het hotel is typisch Mexicaans, sfeervol en in boetiekstijl met veel hout in de meubelen verwerkt. We hadden een ruime hoekkamer, wat maar één nadeel kende: veel verkeerslawaai. Een continental breakfast was niet inbegerepen in de prijs maar kostte weinig extra en was prima.
