Initially we were allocated a disabled room which we didn’t ask for nor were we informed about by yhe Scottish lass at reception. I returned to reception and politely asked about having a standard room the receptionist rather shortly responded by saying “ there’s no drama” and went on to mention that there were no stand double rooms available, only triple rooms and family rooms. I do feel that she should have at least asked if I’d like a disabled room or not . It’s obvious that she just wanted to get rid of the disabled rooms. I failed to mention that the dialled room was freezing cold and had a horrible smell within it too. Also, it would have being a nice touch if there was an iron available. The breakfast could have offered a gluten free option and vegetarian or vegan sausages. The cleaning staff ere very good and the other receptionists were very accommodating too.
