Poor quality hotel not worth plus 150$ a night!
Poor quality hotel. The review/scores on hotels.com mentioning a 9+ score are probably produced during long times ago, or fake log-ins.
We paid 160$ a night for a studio queen plus sleeping sofa.
-Upon arrival there was a bad smell in the room (probably still there from cooking by previous occupants;
- the sofa bed was the worst we ever experienced, consisting of a metal frame with a 3 inch mattress totally worn down. It resulted in even our child (28KG) having back pain after a night sleep;
- this sofa bed wasnt made upon arrival and initially the hotel refused to provide bedding and an extra pillow “as it was our own responsibility to make the bed”. The manager was called and she stated that that simply is the hotel policy. After further fierce discussion finally the hotel agree to provide materials and make the bad. Ridiculous customer service! Un-be-lie-va-ble.
- The fire alarm went off at 0530 in the night. Of course it can always happen but this happened due to people smoking (probably pot, as elevators smell of it) in their room. No further apologies for the inconvenience were made by hotel staff;
- The breakfast is rated near 10 “extra ordinary” but it is the most basic and untasteful breakfast, matching that of a 75$ hotel. Tables werent cleaned, no space, content poor (especially warm dishes) and plastic materials. Something unacceptable for a 160$ a night hotel.
- The rooms are poorly isolated and its next to the highway.
