It’s also a hub for nature lovers thanks to its rolling sierras, cliffs and idyllic beaches. But the region’s culture and history have been shaped by civilisations including the Romans, Byzantines and Muslim Moors.

Weather conditions remain favourable year-round. Even if you visit during winter, the beaches of Marbella, Malaga and the Costa del Sol are ideal places to soak up the sun.
