Tranquil holiday
Our stay at Dencala was so tranquil we wish we had booked to stay longer. The house has a warm & welcoming feel so we easily relaxed and felt at home. It is well equipped and stocked in the kitchen and the lounge room (excellent range of DVDs). The views from the living room are so sublime! I’d love to return to Dencala.

A lovely cosy house in a beautiful setting. The kids lived watching and feeding the birds

Great house, great position, very comfy!
Great house in a great position. Had a very relaxing stay. House is well appointed, and warm with the log fire. Fantastic vista through the bush and tall trees, with birds aplenty!

A bird-lover's paradise!
My husband and I were cycling the Munda Biddi trail, when we decided we would rather be cycling from a central location. We booked Dencala because of the bird references in the photos and title. We booked for 2 weeks and we are very glad that we did. Every day was a feeding frenzy of Rose-breasted Cockatoos, ring neck parrots, rosellas, red-eared firetails and so many more! We loved the birds. The house was well-appointed, with a waffle iron, slow cooker, washer, dryer, fireplace and wood. We thoroughly enjoyed the house. There was minor mis-communication about trashbags, paper towels and kitchen towels being supplied for the second week, but those things are minor and I'm sure, just a miscommunication. There is taxi service to this house. There is no wifi, which we would have liked to have as many of the movies played part way through, but not all the way through, and because we really wanted to stream video of the birds on FB live to share and to save for later. Even so, We loved our stay at this house and exploring the bicycle trails in the area. The house is within cycling distance of William Bay, Lights Beach, Greens Pool and a long, overnight cycle to the treetop walk at Walpole. Bus/train service to Perth, or from Perth is an enjoyable day.

Very comfortable house.
Loved being able to look out among treetops and all the birds. The house is very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. Even though we were surrounded be neighbours it was very quiet. Very happy with our stay.
