Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Williamsburg Colonial

Apparently I got this Days Inn confused with the other nearby Days Inn. I would avoid this one. The room was dated. The furniture was minimal. The walls etc had been poorly patched. There was a beetle in the bathtub (at least it wasn’t a roach). One of the lights didn’t work. The air conditioner was hit or miss. It was not at all what I expected, nor would I have my family there again. Williamsburg was nice. The motel - not so much.

The location and the price were good. However, the room felt tired, in need of a facelift. The bathroom door in my paritcular room was damaged at the bottom - no big deal, just contributed to the overall "pay attention to me" feel of the room. Otherwise, the hotel is safe, quiet and convenient. It's no-frills but it's adequate.

It was close to things we wanted to do, it took about 10-15 minutes to get anywhere in Williamsburg.

Website says breakfast included and I’m sure there would be no buffet due to covid but I’ve stayed at 3 other hotels during this time and they at least offer bagged breakfasts with muffins, oatmeal etc but this place said they aren’t serving anything at all! That was unexpected so we had to get the kids up and go wait in long lines to get breakfast so I was upset about that! My husband got bit all night long by something in the room also :(

Our family stayed 3 nights visiting the beaches and historic sites. Great location! Found a good price. Close to food and entertainment. We walked to grocery, dinning and golf across the street. Not the most clean place I’ve stayed in but not terrible either. Beds were clean and comfortable. Shower was nice. Sinks looked like they had never been cleaned though. It was pretty empty that week and I wish they had given us a few more towels with a family of 4. WiFi was ok. A/C worked well. Front desk was friendly and helpful whenever we had any issues. Pool was open and decent. I would stay again.

I had a very good experience here and I loved the quiet atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this place! I would love to come again!

I called ahead to verify the pool would be available and they offered breakfast I was told yes to both. They did not offer breakfast. I was told the pool opens at 9 then told 930 and come to find out it was 10 which doesn’t sound like a big deal but to an 11 year old who wanted to swim before we had to travel home it was a big deal. Not having breakfast was also a big deal it was one of the reasons we picked this specific hotel. Both employees at check in and check out barely spoke five words. Other than a big stain on the carpet that had obviously been attempted to be scrubbed out the room was fine. The room was clean and tended to daily by housekeeping.
