## Space

This first floor flat is located in a period apartment building, boasting traditional features. The interior is spacious and bright with comfortable furnishings and a homely finish.

The living room is airy and clean with a large smart TV and fully-functioning fire place, for those cosy winter nights. The kitchen is well equipped and will allow you to feel relaxed with the essential crockery, plates and cooking equipment supplied.

There are two bedrooms, both featuring king sized beds with plenty of storage, as well as one bathroom in the flat to share. Our cleaners place fresh, hotel quality linen on the bed just before your arrival.

There is also Netflix for guests as well as Virgin Cable High Speed WiFi (100mbps).

Guests will have access to the entire property during their stay.

## Neighborhood

Forming the outskirts of Edinburgh city before the road meanders south-east to Musselburgh, Portobello has long been a major attraction for locals from all over the city, due to its much-loved beach, attractive promenade, and wealth of cafes, shops and bars. The area has something of a small town feel, and an independent air. The beach itself is worth travelling to see, though to be warned- the water is very cold! The major road passing through the area means Portobello also enjoys great transport links to the city centre.

## Transit

Most places are within walking distance of the property.

Edinburgh Airport: From the airport take the Tram or Airlink bus to the final stop. From here the apartment is a quick taxi ride or you can take the number 26 or 124 bus.

Train: The nearest railway station is Brunstane which is 1 mile from the flat. Journey time to Edinburgh Waverley is 7 minutes.

Buses: Lothian Buses are the main bus operator in Edinburgh. They offer a great free app that provides route maps, fare information and live bus times. It's a great tool for getting around the city.
