June 2021 Family Vacation with small kids.
Great place to stay. Pool on rooftop. Staff is exceptional!
Disappointed that a shuttle was advertised but there was none. Also breakfast disappointing - only microwaved foods. Parking was an additional $40/day.
Taking into consideration the vacation closures from the pandemic, it was great to get away!
I would recommend staying at this location.

They don’t come into room and cleaning ladies don’t understand English so hard to get towels and soap. Dispensers were not full and water glasses were dirty. Not a fan and tried a few times but won’t be returning. Great location and communication or guidance would have helped. Not one person asked How was your stay - they don’t care.

$40 parking! Be warned.
Nice hotel near music row. Front desk staff were average, not great. They will nail you for $40 per night parking unless you make other parking plans. We paid it the first night and then found a street one block north that has free parking. There are also $15 lots nearby. They still charged me parking for every night and I had to call and have them reverse it.

NEVER AGAIN BEWARE!
Consider I travel a lot pre-COVID. What they don’t tell you when you book is they rip you off for $40 a night for parking. To compound that, they aren’t running shuttles so if you want to be responsible and not drive down to Broadway, you are forced to take a Taxi or Uber 1 mile for $20-$40 one way depending on time of day or night. Meanwhile mask restrictions are lifted in Tennessee, the bars are packed front to back with no masks in sight. It is clear that Marriott is trying to recoup costs wherever it can but isn’t considering everyone was impacted so $40 for parking is irresponsible! At least give people a ride. No room cleaning unless you ask. 24 hours notice.

Valet is a LOT of money.
Being this close to a college part of town, I expected the loud noise. That’s not within the control of the hotel, but be aware it can get loud.
Parking is $40/night valet with no self parking on property available. I don’t mind that arrangement, but that is crazy high.

The front desk people were all very nice, and helpful. I do not like with covid they do not bring accessories, unless you ask. But for the most part it was nice. Close to some fun bars.

Hotel was very nice, but fairly noisy- both street noise from outside and loud, probably drunk people returning from the local bars. A good choice if you’re going to be one of those barhopping people, not great for families visiting Vanderbilt or other early to bed early to rise activities.

The hotel was beautiful but I had some issues cleanliness. The front desk was great about taking care of the issue.

Room was nice!
Far from downtown 30 minute walk.
I didn’t realize it was so far.
