Clarion Inn Martha's Vineyard

The Clarion inn has some nice friendly staff and is in a good location for traveling around the area. However it is badly let down by the dated bedrooms, which unfortunately were not to the cleanliness standards I would expect. We had to have our duvets and blanked replaced as they were marked and has hairs on. I can not understand why the top duvet does not have a cover on it, apparently this is their standard set up? Surely it cant be good to have to wash the entire duvet every day, and as they are white they are marked / stained in places. The breakfast was the worst I have seen in ages, very limited choice (NO hot options at all, as the pancake machine was out of service), a few cereals, bread for toast and yogurts was about your lot - very disappointing. It is a real shame to say I would not stay again as the staff seemed friendly and helpful but it just does not meet the requirement of the modern family traveller.

Clean, comfortable, convenient, and a good value for our two-night stay on the island. Liked the continental breakfast offerings--standard yogurt, toast, muffins, and a variety of juice and coffee. We got takeout from the attached restaurant The Grill one night and found it to be fine. I would recommend this hotel as a good value and will stay again if the need arises.

Used accessable room as had recent hip replacement. Room was fine but there was a leak that develpmed from below toilet. As it was only 2 night's stay I reoorted this when we left. Best check that this has been repaired before booking an accessable room. Otherwise, fine low cost place to stay.

Convient locarion, friendly staff and a nice breakfasr to start the day off with. The room was clean and comfortable.

Great location and price value. I would definitely stay here again. Only piece of feedback is that the room smelled a little wet / moldy.
