While the hotel was generally what one would expect for this type of place a couple things stood out. The room was spacious and the service/housekeeping staff attentive. The tv, while not a smart tv, had extra inputs that I was able to connect to my laptop so I could view my streaming services that way. The mini fridge was sufficient for my needs and actually had 2 microwaves so I didn't have to wait to heat up food while my wife did hers. :)
On the down side, the pool was closed (I don't know why), and the ice machine closest to my room was not working. The carpet in the room was mostly good, but in one spot under the vanity table it was absent - just bare cement - and one part near the sofa seemed sticky when tread with bare feet. I suspect the previous guest spilled something and while housekeeping did try to get it, without a steam cleaning or similar treatment (which would be prohibitively expensive to do in between every guest) it remained. Also the bed was very firm, which is ok for back sleepers, but not a side sleeper like me. After a few nights, I would wake up a little sore due to improper support. One of the (hidden) light fixtures in the vanity area was empty - perhaps they didn't realize it was there?
