La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Appleton College Avenue

Our bathroom floor was sticky. There looked to be blood stains on the walls. Wallpaper is peeling like everywhere. Breakfast was disappointing. Halls smelled like stale cigarettes. Only good things were the Pantene shampoo. Paying 175$ a night in this hotel was definitely not worth my money.

Room had no a/c only heat, breakfast was o.k. one elevator for entire building, our room was was on the opposite end, long walk with cart, sofa bed was broke, two beds in room were very small, not what I had expected and there was no glass to storm door, Rate- D---------

We found paraphernalia in the room. Hair in the showers. Some staff looked at us as if we were not welcome, guessing because we were African American. I definitely liked the convenience of the Applebee’s restaurant and the young lady who checked me in was very sweet, pleasant, and comforting! Breakfast was basic, muffins and fruit. They also had cereal. Not the best LaQuinta but it’s tolerable for a 2 night stay.

No lighting in parking areas. Very dark wondered about safety. Room was great service was great!

Excellent service but the room smelled and there was a big wet spot by the bed which I covered up with a towel. I did report it to the desk and they made note of it.
