Prima hotel in de buurt van het vliegtuig. Prima als je een vroege vlucht hebt, of een aansluiting de vokgende dag. Goed ontbijt, met ook de mogelijkheid tot een extra vroeg ontbijt.

Prima hotel vlak bij het vliegveld. Nette en comfortabele kamer. Uitstekend ontbijtbuffet. Vriendelijk personeel. De omgeving is niet echt inspirerend. Ligt op een bedrijventerrein. In het hotel en in de kamer is daar niets van te merken. Het is er sfeervol en rustig.

Fine as an airport hotel. Good breakfast and nice pool and sauna. Spotlessly clean.

The hotel was further away from the airport than stated.

Great for an overnight stay to catch an early flight! there is a nearby shopping center..

My first stay in this Scandic HoteI. Very nice and proffesional staff, there is a nice spa and you can also play bowling at the hotel :-D. Good restaurante and food was very tasty! Will for sure come back to this hotel!

Thought room had pleasant minimalist, practical decor,. Heard no noise from neighbors, planes, or traffic. Enjoy the varied lighting options. Warm breakfast started at 6am, prior to that there is a cold breakfast. Liked lobby etc. I had sent two emails with questions and received quick response. Tip if coming from the Airport train station…the shortest walking route (5min) if weather is ok, is to walk outside and cross a few streets to P5, In front of which is bus platform 57. (look for the bus with Aviacongress on it, plus two other hotel names at which it stops, several buses stop here). The hotel’s own site has a link to the bus schedule. In the morning the bus came every 20 minutes and was about 10 minutes to the airport. The only real con was a bit on back luck for us:Starting at the Airport train station we walked all the way around the airport which took 15+ minutes walking fast, loaded with luggage. Just missed the bus, which at that time came every 30 minutes, so that it took about 55 minutes from getting off train before arriving at hotel. Decided it would have been worth the additional money to stay at one of the two hotels next to Terminal 2. Other than timing, our bathroom smelled of sewer (in Finland bathroom drains are often open) which hopefully was atypical. Hotel tablet system used to contact the front desk was not working, as we learned once in the room, or we may have asked if it was possible to switch rooms. Would not judge our room/bathroom as large.

The check-in system was broken for over 3 hours, meaning early check-in was effectively unavailable. Bathroom had not been fully cleaned and smelled. Other than that the hotel was pretty reasonable. Great value for the money. The complementary breakfast was absolutely amazing and almost made up for the other failures.

Had a enjoyable stay at the Helsinki Scandic AviaCongress. Check in was smooth, and the modern rooms were clean with very comfortable beds. Very little outside noise could be heard. The breakfast buffet was outstanding with so many choices of food; in terms of breakfast this is the best hotel I have ever been to in terms of the quality and options of the included breakfast. The free shuttle bus is a massive plus as well, Helsinki Airport was approxmately 10 minutes away from the hotel so a very straightforward connection. I suppose the only gripe I have is that the swimming pool water was on the cool side, it would have been nice if it was around the 30C mark instead of 20C, would have made a more pleasurable experience using it!! All in all though, a very high class hotel, of which I can fully recommend.

The rooms are large, tastefully appointed Nordic style. The breakfast buffet is superior to most. And the free airport transfer is a big plus, as is the free left-luggage facility.
