The hotel is very characteristic and both the hotel and grounds are well kept. There is a need for air conditioning in the hotel and rooms. The staff on our day of arrival looked so drained and uncomfortable, albeit they continued to provide outstanding service. It made us feel that we didn’t want to ask for anything as we didn’t want to be responsible for making the staff any more uncomfortable than they already looked.
Hotel was clean, our room which was the Wisley, was very well presented, just unbearably hot. We obviously appreciate that the temperatures we have been experiencing, are way above the average, but even a regular summers day would result in a poor nights sleep. Not helped by the radiator in the bathroom being extremely hot and on all the time.
