Hotel was just ok. When I made the reservation I asked for adjoining rooms. I didn’t get them! They wanted to give me 2 rooms on 2 different floors!! When I said no then they gave me 2 room’s diagonally across from each other and said they had no more adjoining rooms available! The elevator smelt disgusting. The pool was closed and the water was green. Beds weren’t that comfortable. They were very squishy and to soft. While place was just blah

The location of the hotel convenient. The condition of the room was ok (although it’s showing it’s age) except the carpet seemed dirty.

We checked in later in the evening because we had an event that day at West Point. It was an extremely hot and humid day and the next day we had a formal banquet to attend. The air conditioning in the room did not work. I called maintenance and they could not fix it. We tried to sleep in the hot room and it was miserable so not much sleep. The floor was wet from the humidity in the room. We asked if we could move rooms or go to one of their sister hotels. Nothing was available. We asked to check out the next day. They said they would allow a refund for the second night but we could not stay past checkout to find another hotel. I understand there are things like the AC that could be out of their control and was not upset about that. I was upset that the manager did nothing to accommodate us while we tried to find another place to stay. Also, for 4 people in the room we only got 2 towels. When I asked for 2 more, I was told they were out of clean towels. When I was at the front desk waiting to see if they had towels, someone else was complaining their air did not work. Upon leaving, we asked someone in the hall and they said their air didn’t work either, and they didn’t get enough towels for 4 people. I have never had an issue with Hilton Garden inns in the past but I will never stay at this one again. I will say, the front desk attendants were very friendly and empathetic, but the manager was not accommodating at all.

Air Condition was locked at 65 degree and room was very hot. Hallways needed to be clean & elevator was super slow.

Stayed two nights but never cleaned room after 1st night. Also, we checked in around 6, but had to wait for a "manager to check out the room"?

My wife and son arrived at the hotel past midnight, after a long drive, and to their dismay learned that Hampton Inn cancelled the reservation I made through Hotels.com. They scrambled and found another place to spend the night (more expensive, less amenities, and farther from their destination). I called Hotels.com this morning to complain and they magically offered to reimburse the night that Hampton Inn cancelled; how about the inconvenience and extra cost that my son and wife had to endure? Unacceptable.

No A/C at all in the 3rd floor hallways- the room was even worse, it was set to 70* and it ran non stop just trying to have it be somewhat cool but it never got below 80*. This was the 2nd room we were put in- the first room A/C did not work either at all it had a nasty moldy smell, almost seemed like it was not cleaned from previous guest- only the bed was made up. They used to have great beds and pillows but these mattresses felt very old and beaten up. When we entered the premises each time there was not even a hello or acknowledgement from anyone behind the check in, they could care less. It became a bet amongst our group to see if they would or not and nope........nothing no matter the time or who it was.
