The hot tub was 80 degrees they said their engineer couldn’t figure it out. The pool was 65 degrees. The towel cabinet was full of wet used towels. For a Marriot Sheraton hotel the attitude and quality were more like a sleazy motor inn. Unacceptable! Understanding of equipment malfunction not the towel situation the manager on duty was advised and completely blew me off but some drunk in the bar told an asian man he looked like Bruce Lee and he threw him off the property. Where are our priorities! Completely a disaster. Will complain to the CEO of Sheraton.

Basically, we as travelers are providing corporate welfare during this pandemic. The staff are short staffed, the amenities are fewer, things like non working hot tubs, long lines and the inability by staff to provide basic needs. Yet, the prices are nearly doubled.

Everything was very nice and comfortable. The only thing I would have to say is to save your money on the water view. Not much to see.

The service was pretty bad. We asked for towels and left before they arrived. We came back to our room and found our hotel room door open with towels in a plastic bag hanging on the door handle. Someone left a smelly bag of trash on the floor in the exit area hallway. We called and reported it. No one came to throw it away so it remained stinking up the area. There was only a little toilet paper in the bathroom when we arrived and no extra roll. We ran out and called for them to bring us a roll of toilet paper. They told us that it would be 45 minutes before they could send someone to our room with a roll. So we had to go to the front desk to get a roll of toilet paper. We were also informed that they would not be cleaning the room since we were only stayed two nights.

Loud train passing every 5-10 minutes with their super noisy horns during the day, you can’t rest in your room. The breakfast was supposed to be included for free but they give you $14 voucher and the cheapest item in the breakfast menu starts from $15, then they also charge the tax, so it’s not free.

This location had technical problems with checkin...one person trying to help the other two desk clerks and her own guest. While the rooms were clean and well stocked, the common spaces, hallways and pool area were in need of more regular cleaning. The maids were working frantically to keep up....seriously understaffed.

As far as what to expect from a Sheraton hotel, I would say this is about average. The staff was pleasant and greeted us every time we passed the front desk. The room was clean and accommodating. We stayed four nights and had a pleasant time when we were in the room. The location in Petaluma is excellent, giving you quick access back to the bay, as well as each of the numerous wine valleys. It’s a quick trip to downtown Petaluma, which is a jewel that must not be overlooked on your journey. As ever, nothing is quite like home, but the Sheraton Sonoma Wine Country is very comfortable.

The restaurant food was lovely but only one poor guy for the whole place, so he was a bit harried! But he handled it well, the food was great, and he was friendly!

View was nothing like expected. Had to pay extra and had two small windows that were very dirty. View was also blocked by planter. View was mostly of the other suites windows with a little water. If went in corner could see one of a few boats that were moored there. Nothing like picture on reservation.
