Overall a positive experience, a mid range hotel, good breakfast, great location, comfortable bed, the room itself could use a little updating, bathroom was nice- modern and clean, would definately stay again!

Great place to stay in Vienna!
We had a wonderful 3 night stay at Das Opernring. The staff were so welcoming, sweet and extremely helpful. The location is excellent! We were so pleased that we could easily walk to famous locations or jump on a tram or subway right outside the door to other areas. We drove our car with parking about 5 minutes away under the Opera House. Our room overlooked the street but with the windows closed, we found it quiet. Our room was an excellent size and housekeeping did a wonderful job (everywhere) of keeping it clean and fresh. Breakfast was served in a charming room with large bright windows and a yummy breakfast buffet. The selection was fantastic! We highly recommend this hotel and should we go back to Vienna we would stay there again.

We would not hesitate to stay here again, it is in the perfect position with friendly staff, good amenities and excellent breakfasts. There was absolutely no road noise despite our room overlooking the opera house and Opernring road although the next rooms shower sounded like it was in ours 🙈

Great hotel
Very welcoming hotel with many original features throughout, especially around the staircase. The Reception staff were proactively helpful with resources & advice. Breakfast had plenty of variety. The bedroom and bathroom had plenty of room & were super clean.

How to feel welcomed!
Harold welcomed me offered Christmas Cookies and helped with my concert tickets. He was wonderful and kind. If ever I have the opportunity to travel to Vienna again I would gladly stay here!

Great stay for our short visit
Customer service is amazing, good choice of breakfast, and we really enjoyed our stay here. Nice big rooms, we were in 304 Only small issue was with the shower, we couldn't quite work out how not to make the water leak from the shower screen, and it was a little too small for 6'2 person, we made do with it though! I think longer term the hotel should refresh the rooms a little, but don't let that put you off staying here. It's very central and the staff are top notch
