Very disappointing experience.
On February 27, I returned to my room at 6:55 PM to find the door wide open. It had clearly been left open for some time. My suitcase had been moved and hidden behind the curtain. This is a serious security failure. Fortunately, nothing was stolen, but that does not excuse the negligence.
No real apology or commercial gesture was offered. We were simply moved to another room.
The next day, after booking a non-refundable extension via Hotels.com, we were told that a note had been added to the system preventing us from extending our stay — a decision made without informing us beforehand.
A hotel that cannot guarantee basic room security and then handles the situation this poorly does not meet acceptable hospitality standards.
