The home is located 11 miles from Downtown Flagstaff, 25 miles from
Snowbowl, 30 miles from Sedona, 60 miles from the Grand Canyon South
Entrance, and 20 miles from Oak Creek Canyon. This is the ideal
location to use as a home base as you explore the many sites in
Northern Arizona.
Located in the high country mountains of northern Arizona, Flagstaff's
four seasons are enviable by many. Summer temperatures average in the
low 80s with sapphire blue skies and crisp mountain air, while the
bounty continues into Fall with a panoramic canvas of quaking aspen
and foliage offering hues of reds and purples. Winter adventures await
in Arizona's officially designated Winter Wonderland with an average
of 108" of snowfall in downtown, while Spring offers breathtaking
beauty of blooms in the world's largest contiguous emerald green
ponderosa pine forest.
Flagstaff, AZ is more than just the closest city to the Grand Canyon
National Park or home of Northern Arizona University. Flagstaff is a
vibrant, little city with a thriving local and mountain culture that
invites outdoor enthusiasts from all over the world (and from other
parts of Arizona, of course) to come to take advantage of its vibrant
alpine setting, cool weather, and even cooler lifestyle. Located at
7,000 feet elevation, Flagstaff is a full, four-season vacation
destination; training grounds for many athletic and US Olympic teams;
a mecca for celestial observations; and last but certainly not least,
it is home to 70,000 people who prioritize family, community, work and
play balance in their daily lives.
You will find Downtown Flagstaff to be one of the best downtown scenes
in Arizona. Downtown Flagstaff is big enough to offer a variation in
vibe, food, drinks, but small enough that visitors, locals, and
college students intermingle at nearly all times of the day. From
coffee shops and music venues to the locally sourced food offered by
many restaurants, you'll find that Flagstaff and its residents are
progressive, intentional, and special.
Did we mention that Flagstaff is an incredibly friendly city? If it's
warm enough, it's off to a downtown patio to have a local craft brew,
listen to music or grab some food. Somewhere in there is work and
life-ing, but you'll find that most Flagstaffians do what they can to
make sure outside and community is part of their regular schedule. For
a small city, Flagstaff has a lot to offer and does a great job of
providing fun times for all.
Snowbowl:

with the mountains as your playground. Nestled in the heart of the
Coconino National Forest, minutes from Snowbowl and downtown Flagstaff
and just over an hour away from Grand Canyon National Park, explore to
your heart's desire during the day and share your stories at night in
the cozy comfort of Basecamp. Ski spectacular lines in the winter,
discover incredible views on the scenic gondola in summer, hike to
