Lovely customer service, very friendly & helpful stafff. Room was very comfortable & clean. Nice shortbread biscuits a bonus! Ordered Turkey dinner it was delicious!

The quality of service provided is exceptional. From a warm welcome, to doing everything to help provide the perfect experience away from home, Laura and her team make this hotel a fantastic place to stay. I regularly use the Crowne Plaza when on business in the area, for the standard and value of the rooms, and the facilities at the Retail Park over the road. In my experience, the personal touch is unrivalled.
I never complain about anything however i feel its only fair i tell the truth about our stay.The room was freezing cold. The heating was not working. We contacted reception numerous times who assured us the problem was being looked at and that if it was not fixed we would receive a heater for the room. This never happened. It was like sleeping in a caravan. We have 2 boys who are 10 and 6 who were cold all night. The heating was fixed at 2am in the morning however we were not informed and so had it turned off (air con system which heated and cooled room) On check out i said i was unhappy about the circumstances, to which i was just told they would pass on what i said, which was no use to me. The hotel was clean and nicely decorated. The pool was closed due to covid as were the bars. Which was disappointing but understandable. The beds are not that comfortable. Breakfast was £12 each which is a bit steep, so we went to McDonald's over the road. All fed for £14. During current circumstances i didnt expect much however i would of been more comfortable staying at home in a warm home. This hotel is probably a nice place to stay when covid isnt an issue, and hopefully the heating is fixed.
Our stay was excellent staff were very helpful and very friendly room was very clean and it was excellent value for money would definitely come back again
Have stayed there many times, also got married there in August 2018. Been there the last two years for Christmas Day dinner. I love the decor of the place with the aviation theme throughout the hotel, the staff are always fantastic and nothing is too much trouble, the rooms are large, fresh and clean.Liverpool town centre is only a 20 minute ride in a taxi.
Our initial thoughts were very quickly confirmed as we found this hotel to be one of if not the most impressive hotels we have visited in a very long time. the receptionist was extremely pleasant and welcoming, the lobby being very well laid out to welcome guests especially during these unprecedented times with social distancing etc offering ample amenities to cleanse and protect both ourselves and others. Going on to the room, well this was a very pleasant surprise, a very well proportioned room which although was a standard double room could easily have passed for and executive suite, offering a large queen sized bed, excellent seating provisions along with a mini fridge, ample storage and an exquisite marble bathroom. The room temperature was adjustable and was set to a pleasant 18 degrees. A very comfortable nights rest was followed by breakfast in bed before basking in the tantalisingly heated bath. All in all I must say that the room, the hotel in general and of course the very lovely receptionist made our stay very pleasant, we will most certainly be visiting again very soon. and would recommend a stay here without hesitation. I returned to this hotel because my previous visits were all good. The check in was quick and easy with good arrangements for COVID distancing. The hotel room was found clean and tidy. However the room TV did not work so we asked the reception who were not helpful at all. They said it had been reported by some other rooms too and they’ve reported it to the technicians but can’t do any more.
Staff were lovely but the rooms and exteriors could do with a real deep clean and refurbishment. Our room was very tired
Incredibly well converted building steeped in history and includes fascinating insights to its past. Convenient shops, restaurants and cinema next door. Helpful and friendly staff made for a enjoyable stay. Hope to return when things go back to normal
