mixed service
The hotel itself is as described. The service was mixed. Valentina on reception was fantastic and was helpful above and beyond in every respect. The bar and cleaning staff were also excellent. The restaurant manager wasn't the friendliest or most helpful. The Ski hire company attached to the hotel (CCM) could improve their service in person. We told them we wanted to hire skis and buy lift passes for 3 days. Without asking any further information he proceeded to give us skis - without knowing our ability or ski style. We were also given the incorrect ski pass and for the wrong days (luckily Valentina at reception helped us sort this out with the Ski lift ticket office nearby at Groste) The ski bus to the town runs from 3.30pm to 7.15pm, so if you wish to stay later in town you have to get a taxi (15 euros).
