Heart O' Chicago

Throwback as regards the look of the room (grandmothers house lol) so i personally felt relaxed. Very clean. Dont let the nostalgic look fool you....i literally looked for spider webs, and anything else that would show this room was like so many other hotel rooms id stayed at.....Nope very clean, just like my grandmother's house! Room #204 weekend of Nov 2nd, 2019!

Nice, clean, older motel. The room was good, the TV smaller and older and probably TV antenna stations. Worst part was getting into the driveway coming from Lakeshore Drive when first arriving because you have to pass the place and circle back because there is a cement median in the road making it impossible to just turn left in. Best part for us was the location, price and free parking. Nice, simple continental breakfast in a clean break room. Overall, I would definitely stay again and recommend it.

Truth is I did not see the property because a week prior to departure through to my return home from what would have been this vacation, I spent in Intensive care in Toronto General Hospital fighting for my life, delirious much of the time. Incapacitated most of the time focused on the next breath to live. Now on the road to recovery but still unwell it was a surprise to find myself responsible for the entire hotel bill. “Get Well Soon! Basic, simple room to stay in. The room was very well maintained and tidy. Breakfast was a modest selection of grab and go items (packaged dainish, muffin, apples, oatmeal and cereals). Breakfast ran from 6.30-11, so plenty of time to get what you need. Light sleepers may want to ask to be away from the main road which was very busy. Really inexpensive room, and a great deal for the money.
