This was not reflective of the staff, who was doing the best they could with their amount of staff, which was very low. The restaurant in the hotel was not open due to low staff.

Staff is friendly
The hotel was so short staffed our room wasn’t ready until after 5. We did not get to use our breakfast voucher because only 1 person to do the breakfast seating, ordering and cooking, the outside trash cans were over flowing for days. They were very apologetic and friendly. Honestly felt bad for the ones trying to do it all. Location was good.

All in all, a nice stay.
Room was fine but no hair dryer and it took over an hour to get one brought to us. We ate at the hotel restaurant and there was only one person serving the bar and restaurant guests - so service was quite slow. This was not a fault of the hotel but of our government for paying people more to stay home than to go to work! Nevertheless, the service was lacking at the hotel - no matter the reason. Room was clean and quite large - no complaints there. Plus we had a nice marsh view with pretty sunrise. All in all, a nice stay.

Our time in the hotel was very nice except for an incident when with check in. The receptionist told me that our breakfast was no included with our package, I'm glad I brought the papers that you sent me with the information because the breakfast was include.

The room was nice, but the indoor pool was very cloudy. The hot tub was brown and out of service. The staff was great, but because of the pandemic, they were extremely short staffed.

I arrived at the hotel and they informed me that they had no available rooms and that Expedia tends to overbook them. The desk clerk was very rude about it and told me there were no rooms available there or any other hotel in Beaufort. Thankfully I was able to find another room and another hotel but I was sadly disappointed in Expedia and Holiday Inn. I’ve never made a reservation with Expedia and got to a hotel and not be able to stay there.
