Dukes London

Great traditional London hotel. Well located, quaint.

A fine boutique hotel with a tremendously friendly and attentive staff - fabulous location only a couple of minutes away from Picadilly, but still peaceful and quiet at night.

The Dukes is one of my favorite hotels in London. With its wonderful staff and impeccable service the Dukes hotel has never disappointed.

Stay at Dukes was excellent from the moment we were greeted by Alexandra at checkin until our departure a week later. The staff goes out of its way to make one comfortable; for example, I found the heavy duvet far too warm for London’s relatively mild climate and the staff tried several different options until I was happy. They say their goal is to have people arrive as guests and leave as friends. They certainly succeeded with us. During our week’s stay we had many opportunities to watch the staff and were especially impressed with how Ms. Rosu the guest services manager, seemed to be able to see that the many different requests from various guests were met with seamless coordination. The location in Mayfair is perfect for shopping, galleries, great restaurants and old pubs.

Very very small hotel, too small and unexceptional to be called 5 star
