City Express Veracruz

The location is perfect!, the room was clean but overpriced for what you get. I booked two rooms for one night, paid aprox 130 for both. The weekend prio I stayed at Camino Real and paid aprox 10 dls more but the difference is giantic. This hotel is overpriced for the tiny little rooms with a super small bathroom. The breakfast is delicious location great! Is clean and staff was nice but definitely I will not stay there again. Over priced little rooms. The access to the beach is terrible nice view from your room but once in the pool the beach there is just giant rocks and is not worthed for what you pay.

The hotel was recommended because it was in a safe location and the rooms ran around $60 US. On our way into Veracruz state we stayed at an $83 per night hotel along the water that was much nicer. In retrospect I wish I had stayed there again.

The mattress was rock hard. I hardly slept for 9 nights, which wore on my mood and patience. The only other problem was that the room keys didn’t work well. We had to have them reprogrammed every single time we returned to our room (often waiting in line to do this). The staff were wonderful. The location was perfect. The included breakfast was delicious. Unfortunately, the sleep issue was so significant, we won’t be returning.

This is a bare bones hotel. Small rooms. No frills. It was clean. But it also took several hours for the room to be ready. We did not get into our room until after 5 pm. Only stayed one night. Moved to another hotel. Food was OK, but the space for it was small and there were way too many people.
