Le Placide Saint Germain des Pres

I booked my stay in this hotel for 4 nights and ended up staying one. I did extensive research before booking this hotel, with two of the main conditions being it was at least a 4-star hotel with reviews of 8 or higher. This had both of those when I was doing my research and seemed to be in a great area. This was at most a 3-star hotel. The reception area was cramped and the elevator was only big enough for 2 people realistically without luggage. When I got to the floor I was staying on it was another cramped area with 2 doors. It didn't get much better inside the room either, which was small even though I got one of the biggest rooms. I would expect a 4-star hotel to have at least a queen bed and the room only had a double bed. The furniture was cheap and chipped. Overall it was just not up to my standards.

We enjoyed our stay at le Placide. Our room was terrific. It was large and light filled. It included a small balcony with table and chairs. The bathroom was huge and efficient. Employees were friendly and helpful when called upon. We would definitely return!

perfect location that was very accessible to the museums and other paris monuments we wanted to see. it was great for me and my 2 cousins to stay. we had a double bed and a single that worked out wonderfully.

Great boutique hotel! Everything is perfect: very professional and kind staff, good room size, very clean and amazing location. My favorite hotel in Paris.
