Shanghai Marriott Hotel City Centre

I am shocked at the service and bathroom quality of this hotel after staying twice before with amazing experience. Service at reception desk was disappointing, slow and not attentive at check in. Have a room 810 with shower area adjacent to commode with no shower enclosure, water flowing everywhere while taking shower, disappointing. Night before check out, staff at reception didn't record late check out at 2 pm although confirmed verbally, very casual, two staff serving one guest. I am not likely to return to this property, it's the Management went down wlthough this property is highly rated by me earlier.

Hotel Manager Katherine and lobby girl Mandy provided a great service of decorating the room for the special request. I had a great time during my stay because of their excellent service.

We stayed in a club room suite on the 37th floor. We have traveled all over the world and found the personal service par excellence! Everyone in the club room , especially the manager, was welcoming and helpful. The breakfast and dinner spread was always fresh , tasty and well presented. Our suite was incredibly spacious with a panoramic view of Shanghai. The location in the heart of the city was perfect. Close to the train and malls for great food and people watching.

They were able to accommodate early check in when i arrive, appreciate a lot

It was a very pleasant stay at Shanghai Marriot Hotel City Centre. Shopping malls, shops, restaurants and the famous Nanjing Road was just steps away. Absolutely no complaint about the hotel’s room and services. A truly money for value stay.
