Hope Land Hotel Sukhumvit 46/1

Mooi hotel, goed verzorgd. Weinig in de buurt. Wel skytrain bts station vlakbij.

The hotel was empty since it was low season. Despite of this, we were given 2 rooms facing extremely busy street and the train passing right at the window on 3rd floor. Asked to change the rooms but the reception ladies were extremely rude, just ignored our request, kept talking with each other until we gave up. Tired hotel and rooms, breakfast was only the good thing. Zero customer service. Do not recommend this to anyone.

Only the breakfast was not satisfied. The rest are very good

3rd day of my stay, Air conditioner was out of order. I complained of the reception about it. Reception sent the boy to confirm that air conditioner was out of order. Reception told me to change the room if I wanted with the condition I had to pack all the belonging in the middle of the night. I told them that I was too tired to pack and I had so many things to pack. I asked them if it is o.k. to sleep the other room and would come back to the same room in the morning. They said, *No*. As a result, I could not sleep the last night. In the morning, I told my story to the reception persons and nobody told me* sorry*. They have too good hospitality for their guest.

This is not a 4 star hotel. Maybe once upon a time it was..... but the maintenance of the place is sorely lacking. The minute you get off the elevator to the hall you see paint chipping around signs, the air is stale, the door handles don’t work as they don’t turn properly.... it has many modern comforts.... staff was nice.... just don’t post good looking pictures pricing the room like it’s a 4 star when you are a 3 at best. Food was decent and staff helpful. The best thing about this place is it’s location. For the price I could have gotten a hotel that has been given proper maintenance.
