very nice hotel we had large room with great amenities. Everything is very clean. The staff was absolutely amazing. Hotel is in a great location with good views.

First of all the service is amazing, all hotel employees were aware of our needs and ready to help. The hotel itself is beautiful the views are breathtaking and the rooms are very comfortable. Really hope to get back to these hotel and take more advantage of their many amenities and services

This was an amazing placed to relax and enjoy a the best of what Costa Rica has to offer. My wife and I were treated like family and the entire experience and was superb. We got to know virtually all of the staff, who made the remission to make sure we were able to enjoy are stay.

The people that work here are very happy and hospitable. The owner, Fabio, is around and stops to talk and share places to go. The food was delicious. They have spectacular views, and a slight breeze being so high up, which saved us from the humidity. The beach is very close and they will take you there in their golf cart. The USA could take hospitality lessons from them.

We had a fantastic trip. The hotel is wonderful. AMAZING views. Incredible service. The staff was really great. They helped us with tours, reservations and taxis. Very attentive. The food in the restaurant is excellent. The pool is a little small but it was never crowded and we had it to ourselves a couple times. The location is close to the beach and the main road. There is a yoga/fitness studio nearby. There are other restaurants with great views nearby as well.

The staff was the best! They made us feel like family and made sure we encountered the best of MA.

1) A 6-inch scorpion next to shower and bath, 1 foot away from where I was standing barefoot to wash my hands at washbasin at 1am after l went to toilet. Had l not turned light on that night, l wouldn't have seen it and could have been stung with who knows what result. My wife and I were forced to leave hotel immediately because of this dangerous creature in our expensive hotel room and call a much better hotel nearby. Luckily they had a room and sent a taxi to collect us. 2) Awful smell from the bath, shower and washbasin drain. 3) Ant infestation in hotel room. We suspect the poor drainage quality and bad smell from it attracted these and the scorpion 4) The bleach the staff used to try to clear the stagnant smell that we reported was just as bad as it filled the room and was pungent and stung our lungs when breathed in overnight 5) No openable windows and the door to the balcony had no mesh or screen to prevent insects, birds or any other wildlife coming in and therefore no way of leaving the door ajar day or night to get rid of the stagnant smell from the drains or the pungent stinging smell of the bleach 6) No dimmable lighting in this penthouse suite. The orange curtains were translucent instead of blackout, including, crucially, by the bed, bath and shower, denying us privacy in the evening and night (our room overlooked the restaurant, lounge and swimming pool). The concierges were asked to attend to this, and even came to our room to see but did nothing about it.

Amazing hotel!!! The view is unreal and we saw monkeys and sloths while eating dinner. We were double upgraded to the penthouse suite for our honeymoon stay which was so romantic and lovely!
