Travelling with two children. The hosts were very warm and welcoming. They've clearly gone to a lot of trouble to make the stay relaxing despite the covid restrictions. The room was spotless, great shower, telly and bunks for the kids. We all slept really well and I actually had to wake up the kids one morning which is unheard of! The hotel is perfectly situated, across the road from the main beach and the play park as well as the train station, harbour and other amenities, so really easy to entertain ourselves and travel around the coast to explore. Breakfast is very good, lots of choice including a delicious and refreshing fresh fruit salad and caters for vegetarian / intolerance including veggie sausage, dairy free butter and milk. Due to Covid we had to order breakfast the day before but it was no hardship and the kids enjoyed having the choice to build their own breakfast. The hotel is close to supermarkets if you want to make picnics. Travelling with kids can be tricky, Jo and Carl treated my kids like any other guests which the kids really appreciated. Two happy children makes for a relaxed mum! All in all a great trip.

B&B at it's best at very competitive price.
Everything you'd expect from a B&B. For what you pay you won't be disappointed. Professionally run in all aspects. Attentive, polite landlord and lady. Breakfast of a good standard which is presented nice and hot with a good choice that will suit everyone.

THIS IS THIRD TIME I HAVE STAYED AT JACARANDER HOTEL AND CAN NOT FIND ANY FAULTS. I GIVE IT 100 % THE ONLY TROUBLE I HAVE FOUND IN SEASON IS THE CAR PARKING ON ROAD .AND NOT FAULT OF HOTEL,AS THEY HELP TO INFORM WHERE TO PARK 5

A breakfast that sets you up for the day
Very nice welcome, nice room (if slightly chilly to my taste), fluffy towels, decent ensuite, all clean and very nicely set out. Parking on-street around the B&B was a bit haphazard but there's a large multistorey 100m away if you're stuck. Breakfast is amazing.
