1900 Artevita

Convenient location, train station about 20 minutes walking, is better to take the bus with luggage. Room was clean, breakfast was outstanding and the owners of this B&B are incredibly helpful. They had contact me in advance to give me instructions and directions to the B&B. Only inconvenience there is no elevator.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The two brothers Stefano and Leonardo who run it are very helpful and gave us helpful hints about traveling and sightseeing in Florence. We had a great vacation

This is a great B&B a bit off the beaten track but in an area of the city still great to explore. The bedroom was big with a beautiful balcony with an amazing, absolutely typical italian vista. Shower was excellent, wifi pretty good (couldn't make internet calls), and a good morning breakfast. The walk to the city center is about 15-20 minutes, but you can do it along the river or along windy streets with lots of shops--so it's nice. There is a really big supermarket very close by in case you forgot something or want to eat something. The B&B has a microwave for use. There are many restaurants nearby too. Downstairs, there is a catholic church organization, so sometimes it smells a bit churchy in the hallways. Got lost a few times--but found amazing sites. Leonardo & Stefano are very helpful and very mindful that you have a good experience.

Our stay at 1900 Artevita was comfortable and relaxing. The owners of this B&B are two brothers who go out of their way to make the stay comfortable and convenient. Check-in went smoothly, and Stefano, the owner, met us at the B&B at the time we had agreed upon. He provided maps, restaurant recommendations, and directions. The B&B itself is very nice, with clean-looking, well-decorated rooms. Our room had a balcony with a view over the street, which was nice for relaxing and eating breakfast. Breakfast was simple (pastries, fruit, yogurt) but plentiful. The location is a bit out of the way from the main tourist destinations, but we did not mind having a longer walk through this gorgeous city. The neighborhood itself is nice and safe, with a convenient grocery store about one block away. Overall, the stay was excellent and I would highly recommend it!
