Holiday Inn Acapulco La Isla

The room was nice & clean & a packet of mask & gel & wipes was given during this time of COVID. The bus boy wasn’t available to take our bags, so we weren’t to happy about that.

Great staff and very clean. Stayed here twice in the past year.

We spent one night on our return from Puerto Escondido It was an Oasis after the long car drive!

It was very clean the room outside parking lot and parking it was easy

I have stayed in Acapulco for work and pleasure over many years and this is my favorite hotel. It has all the elements one would expect in a hotel of this class and the staff is both friendly and service oriented. While the immediate area does not have many restaurants there are services not far and the area continues to develop. The leach on this side of Acapulco is quiet and family friendly.

Fabulous bed and pillows, great little pool with bar service, right by the airport, very good restaurants close by - Pattitito is only 2 blocks away, La Finca about 6 blocks. Not on the beach, on a busy street, but we stayed here the night before we left and it was perfect.

The location is good, the staff is very attentive and friendly. The decor of the lobby is beautiful and of the rooms is nice. The rooms are large. However, there were two things we didn’t like at all: the air temperature was fixed at 24C in our room and was impossible to adjust. And what we absolutely disliked was that the room smelled of humidity and mold. I could tell that it had suffered a serious mold problem because the furniture had been wiped clean to get rid of the mold on it but the smell remained and the damage and stains too on the inside. Even the electric outlets near those drawers had green stains that couldn’t be removed. I recognized the smell because I had that issue in a house I sold. This was very disappointing and I worried for my children breathing the spores during our stay. I didn’t request room change because I imagine it’s not the only room with that problem there and didn’t want to deal with the hassle of changing bedrooms. It’s a pity because the hotel is very nice a fairly new. And the personnel were very kind.

Breakfast was excellent !! All services are ok and the hotel is very clean

Convenient to airport. Not so much a vacation hotel but great for people traveling.
