The hotel was clean. But needs more lighting since it was a very dark hotel. The breakfast is designed for Asians especially towards Japanese clients. They need to have some continental type of foods. Otherwise it’s a clean place.

Very nice boutique hotel. Was located in a bustling area, easily accessible by public transportation or taxi. Shops and restaurants surround the hotel. Room itself wasn't very large but good enough for a couple. Not only was there a chair and desk but also a loveseat and small Ottoman, something not so common in this part of the world. The TV included a surround sound system that delivered cinema-style deep bass! Bathroom really stood out - it was modern and clean with a shower stall and a separate jacuzzi tub. With a TV in front of the tub, it was an excellent way to relax with a glass of wine. The toilet had button controls on the side that raised and lowered the seat (pretty neat!). Our king-sized bed was really 2 full beds pushed together and it worked out well. Mattress was comfortable. The rooms were well maintained and always ready when we returned. The breakfast selection was a bit different than western-style breakfasts. Several of the dishes seemed more appropriate for lunch; however, it was very tasty and a great way to start the day. My room didn't have much of a view but not a big deal. There was a balcony but the window was locked and we didn't bother to inquire the front desk about it. An excellent choice and definitely worthy of a repeat visit!

The room is a bit small and quite dark, but it was my first time in Taipei so I don't know the standards. The amenities were fine and the breakfast ok but a little variety. The big difference have been the staff, specially Betty and Nicky that always have been so nice, kind and willing to help. Like always in the hospitality industry, persons like them can make a difference in your stay, my congratulations to them!

Service, staff, room, amenities, all excellent!!!! The only drawback was that this website and reviews did not expose that this hotel is located in the middle of pretty much Japan town. We were surrounded by Japanese restaurants and having just come from Tokyo to explore Taipei, the last thing I wanted was Japanese food.
