Hotel La Colina

La Colina was in a good location right in between Manuel Antonio and the town of Quepos. The front desk staff were very nice and helpful and even upgraded our room to a beach front view. Be warned though, there are many steps to get to the rooms so if you have a lot of luggage, this may not be the best option. The breakfast in the morning was very good, although on the weekend it took a very long time to arrive. They also have a steakhouse restaurant. The front desk staff were helpful in calling about tours for us and there is parking on site. The room was pretty nice, although we did have a lot of ants coming in, but that is most likely just due to the location. Overall it was a nice stay.

I had two nights booked here, fully paid up front and decided to pay for a different room somewhere else as I was unhappy with the accommodations.

Fantastic property! My friends and I had a great stay here over our recent spring break. The hotel is walking distance to multiple bus stops as well as easy access to taxi transport. With many restaurant options in the area, beautiful beaches, and la Colina accommodations you will surely have an amazing stay in Manuel Antonio!

This place is a hidden gem!! The property was great! The staff was friendly. There was a sloth hanging out in the tree while we were there. The bar/restaurant area is fantastic. Great drinks, excellent food. Breakfast was included and simple wonderful.

Great location. But the rooms were a little dirty and falling apart.

This is a very good no-frill hotel. We highly recommend if it works with your budget to upgrade to the ocean view rooms. Wonderful to sit out on the patio in the morning and evening watching the birds and the ocean. These rooms are significantly less noisy than the jungle rooms. The staff are great. The location is a short walk to the bus which will take you to the beach. A variety of restaurants are walking distance away. No beach towels or coffee maker are provided and the safe is an additional cost. Lots of steps to your room if that is a concern for you. Loved waking up to the sounds of Howler monkeys and songbirds.

Friendly staff, good breakfast! Pool was cool and colorfully lit at night. Pizza was delicious! Room was clean, water was warm in the shower. I thought it was supposed to come with a mini fridge which would be nice. Bed could be a little comfier. AC was awesome. This was a great stay and we would definitely return!!
