Art Series - The Watson

Condition of couch and carpet poor- stained and dirty.. no hot water on Sunday morning. Night staff were very helpful and friendly. Location was very good a lovely area. Art work was beautiful.

After seeing the pics online I was looking forward to this hotel, but while the art is impressive the hotel isn’t looking as good as you’d expect. Mainly because of poor housekeeping. We used the pool and noticed a towel with vomit on it lying on a deck chair, plus empty beer bottles and a dirty nappy lying nearby. And then the next day the beer bottles and nappy were still there! Also our bathroom had lots of dust around the edges not good for allergies. Plus we had to ask them to vacuum after 4 days because we had no way to clean up the sand, straw, and dust we’d tracked in from the beach and festival, and housekeeping had just left it like that. We also had to ask for clean pool and bath towels even though housekeeping had removed the used ones - more than once. The check-in staffmember was friendly and other reception staff were fine when approached but didn’t greet us unless we approached them directly. Location was great, lovely area with cafes and supermarket close-by, and close to town but not too close.

Was absolutely fantastic close to city without being in it. Walked home from ed sheran concert. Woolies aroind the corner and a bottleo. Room good size and bed and pillows the most comfortable eva. Will stay there every trip to Adelaide. Staff very friendly especially the graveyard shift fellas.

We were on the sixth floor amazing views, bed was very good. Lounge very stained and the sliding door could of done with a good clean. And bathroom was so so.
