Door to mall was not open to control flow due to covid. Understandable

We had a favourable stay in Discovery Primea. The Business Flat was spacious enough to fit three comfortably. The bathroom likewise, was large and also well-equipped. In terms of the amenities, we only tried the infinity pool and the spa - both of which were relaxing. Breakfast was well-curated although not as extensive as the ones in other five-star hotels in Manila. Although I booked this room as an Expedia Gold Member, the VIP perks given to me was just a late check-out at 2PM - no room upgrades and food and beverage discount were given (we went to their terrace bar at night). But despite this, we will stay in this property again!

The service of the staff is consistently always exceptional.

The property is nice and new - the design inviting, and the people did an amazing job to keep us comfortable, food was good at this hotel. Excellent location.

The Situation of this hotel is great, just 5min walking distance to the shops and restaurants. The hotel is really nice, its worth visiting the restaurant on the 16th floor called the edge. It‘s fusion cuisine of Asian and French. The rooms were big but it felt very unpersonal, the hotel can be great but it is only okay. For the price we paid it ended up being very expensive. There are cheaper hotels in the Makati area that are nicer. One thing I have to say though is the staff. They are uber friendly and it seems very genuine. If it weren‘t for them, I wouldn‘t give this hotel a good review. The staff are very helpful and attentive.

Hope this review helps future travelers as well as the hotel management to make improvements Check-in : Cold and confusing. I had a long flight from US and I arrived early. They asked me for 90 usd additional to check in 3 hours early. However manager quickly fixed the issue cold front desk lady created. Thank you manager Gym: nice but limited need more machines. Gym staff is unfriendly and they dont care Pool: pool guy is rude, and dont care about the guests. He was busy brushing his teeth behind the pool bar. No pool service for food or drinks available when I was the pool for 3 hours. Food: very average. Restaurant service is good and bad. Some staff are lovely and others they are rude, untrained and dont care Bar/lounge: service is great! Good live music but need more wine selection Room: very comfortable and because of room I could stay at this place one week or longer. Bed is comfy but tv in bath tub was not working. Overall the Discovery Primea hotel is a pleasant hotel although let me make clear, they are NOT a 5 star hotel. 4 yes 4.5 maybe but not 5. Management has a lot of improvements to make and training to do to make this hotel great. Take the challenge to do so! Cheer!

Second time staying here. Exceptional as always one of the best hotels in Makati situated in a the heart of Makati. Facilities and room were amazing. Will definitely be coming back.

This is our third time staying here. Last two times, we had a two bedroom suite. This time, there was only two of us. We booked a ‘Business Apartment.’ In short, the hotel doesn’t honor Gold Members room upgrades. We instead received a room with peeling bathroom baseboards. See pic. We can’t support or recommend a business that doesn’t honor what they say in their advertising.
