Room was clean and comfortable. It would have been nice if someone was on the desk when we left just after 9oclock .am.Left keys on the desk and hoped they were found okay.Breakfast was nice but as there wa s a coach party in we felt we were a little ignored as they were very The room was very clean, breakfast was good,but as there was a coach party in we felt a little ignored as the staff were busy serving them and we were just left to sit there.Would still recommend this hotel as I think we were just unlucky.It was in a very good position for every thing.

Lovely place, very pleasant staff on reception, so close to the centre and nice and comfartable,would highly recommend it to all, will be back great value for money

Lovely friendly hotel. Reception were very helpful. Single bedrrom was small , but with a good sized very comfy bed, and everything I needed. Bathroom was a bit dated, but spotlessly clean and with plenty of the necessary supplies, and the shower was good, plenty of hot water. I will be booking again!

I took advantage of the bargain price being offered at Hotels.com and booked a mid-week two night stay. (£18.90 a night room only) I had no problem checking in early. I stayed in a standard single room on the ground floor next to the bar. It was en-suite and bigger than most single rooms in hotels and they let me borrow a fan as it was quite warm. The decor was bland but clean and functional. The bed was very soft and comfy. And you need to run the shower for several minutes to get hot water. The noise from the bar was minimal but it did disturb me so I used ear plugs. I'd consider returning for a short mid-week stay again if the price was the same. Worth a punt.

Staff were freindly room and bedding were clean bed was comfortable.
