The location is very safe. They were not prepared for our arrival but quickly made amends and worked quickly and efficiently to fix the situation. Very kind and professional staff.

The elevator is a bit scary

The staff is very professional. The rooms are clean and I love the balcony. The restaurant bar has a beautiful view. Beds are amazing... Highly recommend

I booked two "suites" for a business trip in Tegucigalpa and we were given rooms 602 and 604 on the last floor of the hotel. Hotel is clean, staff was very helpful. In room 603 there was a constant, quite audible and annoying low vibration. The cleaning lady told me it was because the room was right next to the kitchen. I asked to move once a room was available I was move 4 rooms down the same floor, which was much quieter. Rooms otherwise were relatively comfy for the price: hot water was hot with reasonable pressure (but keep cycling suddenly on its own from hot / cold every couple of minutes). New clean towels everyday as well as new large size (750 ml) water bottles. The safes in the rooms are tiny (won't fit a 13" computer!) but it didn't matter because none of them worked in all three rooms we got to use during that stay. Wifi worked reasonably well, didn't try the TV. Breakfast is the usual latin america fare: fresh fruits (cantaloupe, pineapple, watermelon and the occasional banana), yogurts, wonderbread and someone making to order eggs, omelettes, pancakes and waffles. There is a rooftop bar that affords a pretty good view (altho the view isn't pretty!), with live music o the week-end. The area around the hotel is pretty bare, but there is a mall (with a lone TGI Friday) 1 mile down the street and an ok pupusa place across from the mall. OK experience, but will probably try another hotel on my next trip to Tegucigalpa.
