Campanile Paris - Clichy Centre

Friendly good value for money, although out of center convenient with metro system

We stayed for 5 nights on our 3rd trip to Paris. Key points were: Very friendly staff!! Beautiful room which was very clean! Lots of love especially for Angelique who is a great asset to the hotel!

To start we were the first people to stay in this hotel. When we arrived there was no sign to let you know where the hotel was. Check-in was quick and simple which was great after a 12 hour flight. When we arrived in the room we realized the pictures were not of this hotel. The room looks nothing like it’s shown. To start it is no where near the size and the bed looks nothing like it. We had to large rolling bags and there was no place to but them with out having to step over them. They had a 12 inch wide by 3 foot tall cubby for your bag / hanger clothes. The bathroom was the only picture that looks the same which was nice, only problem was you could still smell the epoxy inside it. The second night there we arrived back late and the night desk person refused to let us in for almost 30 mins because he was scared. We showed him our keys and he still refused. We had the Do Not Disturb sign up the whole time but the Housekeeper still cleaned our room and damaged 2 of my wife’s shirts. When I explained the problem I was told the housekeepers are contracted out and don’t work for the hotel. There breakfast is expensive and not worth the price especially with McDonald’s and a bakery right next door. The hotel was super clean and the day shift workers were all great and friendly. If you are stay here Uber is the best way to downtown Paris. It will cost about 20 Euros and take about 15 minutes each way. Parking nearby is 18 Euros a day if you drive.
