Santo Cielo by Casa Santo Domingo

Perfect place, so original. Peaceful & quiet

We loved the experience of pretending to camp on the mountain with amenities! The boys who transport you and help with the equipment are excellent especially Moisés and Cristian! The reception lady who gave us the room was confused and instead of giving us room 4 (how has the best view but is a container) gave us the room 5 which is a trailer home and although the view was not so good we really liked it ! I highly recommend this hotel if you want a different and private experience!

This place was amazing! I don't even know how to explain the way it felt to be there...we stayed in the 3 bedroom bungalow, enough for 6 people and possibly 1 or 2 more that could sleep in the living room area...The entire setting was just incredible...the only complaint I have is the hard and uncomfortable mattresses but I would still stay again!

Santo Cielo did not honored my reservation... I had to stay in Casa Santo Domingo Hotel (that is from the same owners) and pay for a difference. Its a lie that the reservation was guaranteed.

Every aspect of our stay was excellent. The peace and quiet, the view, the great sleep! The late check-in was handled well with a direct transport to the top of the hill and our early departure was also handled well. One small criticism is the system used to get up and down the hill. Once a call is made requesting transport down the hill it can take 20 mins(or more if someone takes the transport you called) for the off-road vehicle to take you to the restaurant. Then your taken by a different vehicle down to the main hotel. In a few cases we opted to walk the significant distance rather than wait. All staff were extraordinarily helpful and kind though so it is very difficult to be critical of a wonderful stay. With a better way of transporting people up and down the stay would be perfect.
